This is bad. This is very bad. I know, I've already got four unfinished fanfics, and I've got another Loveless on the go...but I just couldn't resist.
This is gonna be a short, one-shotish fanfic on the lead-up to Valentines. I think I MAY do one chapter a day until Valentines, but it depends if I've got enough time. I don't own Loveless. All that belongs to Yun Kouga, the genious who created Soubi. If she was God, I doubt there'd be ANY single men out there.
Sorry for any mitakes. I have proofread, but tend to skip over my own mistakes. Critisism, comments, reviews all will be welcome!
None of them had any reason not to be happy. It was a chilly, yet fresh day, the winter sun still showing itself even in the first week of February.
Ritsuka had no worries. His hand was happily settled in Soubi’s and he was very much content with the way the other man’s hand was acting like a glove for his own, his fingertips a gentle pink colour from the cold.
Yuiko was walking backwards, jumping about and laughing with Yayoi about the events of the school day. She stopped, raised a finger to her mouth and looked up thoughtfully, a rare thing of someone with as much common sense as Yuiko. Or as little, more pessimistic people would say.
She grinned, then pointed to Ritsuka and declared “What are you two doing for….for Valentines day?”
So much for no worries. Ritsuka was currently sitting at his desk, head in his hands and he racked his brain for a present to buy his, dare he think it, boyfriend.
What, exactly, would Soubi want from him? He had gone over everything he could think of, and the only logical thing he knew the man would want was….well, were…..his ears and tail.
But he would not settle on that. It was their first Valentine's together, and he did not intend to make himself an “impure” thirteen year old. His birthday, four days before Christmas, and Christmas itself had been more than enough of a worry. He did not wish to be earless, yet he did at the same time, and he found himself dreading holidays and birthdays where the two of them could, and would, be more intimate.
Valentine’s Day, the day when every couple in the world celebrates their love, old or new, was by far the most dreaded.
He moved his gaze to the pictures pinned up at his board, sighing weakly.
Soubi had smiled and placed a finger to his lips. “Himitsu” There was a weird, off-putting glint in his eyes that made the boy worry even more. Yuiko had merely giggled.
He cried out, ruffling his hair up and he continued to think and think of a present. What could he possibly get the man, when he didn’t know anything about him? He didn’t know about any personal interests, whether he liked chocolate or not. Anything!
Stupid adults… He thought.
