Soft chocolate-brown hair scattered, tears started to flow on the white skin and the red lips... tightly closed, teeth clenching... Moment later eyes opened... The eyes are like amethyst... The eyes held sorrows and... fear...

A little mermaid was sad that the boy didn’t even look or care, but didn’t show. Why?

That’s because of love. Even though it can never be, the mermaid didn’t give up.

Opposite of the boy with the amethyst eyes stood another boy with navy-blue hair and emerald eyes. Those eyes were cold.

“Where have you been?”

“... Bakery shop...”

The boy with the brown hair looked pitiful... and anyone would want to hug him. But to the boy with the emerald eyes was more irritated.

“What time is it?”

“...11p.m.”

“That’s right.”

The boy with the navy-blue hair... Athrun placed his face on the white smooth neck... The brown haired boy just shivered... not caring Athrun grabbed the boy’s chin and made the boy look at him. Athrun smiled, but it didn’t look warm at all. Those eyes so cold and so uncaring.

“You know the punishment right?”

Athrun held the thin wrist tightly which made the other boy to flinch.

“Take it off.”

The boy with amethyst eyes started to take of his clothes. Athrun grabbed the boy’s waist and the laid him on the bed.

The little mermaid always looked at him.

But the boy’s eyes were cold like ice as he looked at the mermaid.

It was as if he was playing with the mermaid’s pure love like a toy.

The little mermaid was sad and broken but smiled. For him the mermaid smiled.

Sunshine shined through the window. The boy... Kira got up from the bed. The sheet had the marks of yesterday night’s activity. Athrun wasn’t there. Kira sighed then started to clean up. Suddenly the door bell rang. Kira quickly put the sheet inside the laundry and went to get the door. As he opened the door he saw a boy with black hair and red eyes. Greeting the boy pleasantly, Kira led the boy into the house. The boy frowned as he saw Kira’s expression.

“You came...yesterday too?”

“Eh? Ah... Um...”

Kira started to mumble and the boy couldn’t help but to sigh. The boy took out the first aid kit and Kira as if he was used to this showed his body to the boy.

“Why are you living with him?”

“That’s because... I like it...”

“Even though you are living like this?”

The boy’s words were like a knife piercing through his heart but Kira smiled but didn’t say a thing. The boy with the red eyes... Shinn kept on fixing Kira’s wound as if he didn’t want to hear the answer. After it was done the silence was unbearable. Smiling Kira asked Shinn.

“Do you want cocoa or juice?”

“I will have cocoa.”

“Okay.” With that Kira left to the kitchen. He walked little unsteadily due to the wounds and that’s what worried Shinn the most. Kira was humming a song and could be heard to the living room where Shinn was from the kitchen. Shinn just sighed.

“That person was always like that.” Shinn thought and sighed once more.

There was a boy who looked at the little mermaid.

He felt sympathy toward the little mermaid and went closer.

They quickly became friends and started to talk.

The boy asked the little mermaid. Why are you living with that person?

The little mermaid gave the boy a pretty smile and said.

Shinn couldn’t take it anymore. Kira suddenly looked behind him to see Shinn holding his waist.

“Shinn?”

“Why...Why... why are you with that person!”

Shinn shouted out with a voice full of anger.

Kira lowered his head with a sad expression on his face. As if calming a little child Kira spoke gently.

“That’s because I love him.”

“That’s because I love him.”

The little mermaid said those and looked at the boy with sad eyes.

The boy just looked at the little mermai... helpless... The little mermaid’s pure love for a boy who won’t even return it...

Why did it have to be like this? How did it become like this?

What would happen to those three people?

The little mermaid with a pure love...

The boy who would look coldly at the little mermaid...

The boy who wants to help the little mermaid...

That’s...

The sad tale of their lifethatcannot be spoken... Love, which could never be...

The sad tale of love...

People say that they could hear a sad song sang by the little mermaid who still loves the boy... The little mermaid is still waiting for him... for his love... even though the boy left... The little mermaid cried and cried, sang and sang... then realized the boy would never love and care... The little mermaid's heart was broken... started to slowly die... The boy who cares about the boy couldn't do anythin but watch... as the little mermaid slowly start to fade away... The little mermaid said " Because I love him..." and faded away...

This fic is weird… I don’t know it just came to my mind… What do you think? Is it confusing? I hope not... I am thankful to all those who read this fic. Please R&R.
