Naruto: Legacy of the Kazama Clan

Author's notes: Naruto has been turned into a girl at this point. Interesting or not? I was always wondering what would happen if Naruto had been a girl... For easy reference, Naruto will be referred to as Naru. A lot of things will be changed. Consider the fact that Naruto's now a girl, she'll be more self-conscious and other stuff... I'll be pulling stuff from my other stories, including fighting styles. Don't forget King of Fighters stuff... Go King of Fighters!

Chapter 1: Don't Ask...

Naru Uzumaki was your plain and average six year old girl in appearances. She had golden blond hair that reached slightly past her shoulder blades, and sky blue eyes. Right now, she was sitting in Iruka's class, listening to him lecture about something. She yawned. She took a look around the class.

There was nothing interesting around the class. She put her head on her arm and listened on. She sighed and the boy next to her gave her a weird look.

She glanced at him. It was Uchiha Sasuke. A somewhat nice guy, although his family had been murdered heartlessly by one of their own, Uchiha Itachi. Now, Sasuke was just a brooding fellow now whose thoughts were on revenge.

After the class ended, Naru hurried home. She had made an interesting discovery the other day when she had to stay behind because she had caused a disturbance.

It had been her fault because she had placed a picture of a naked man in Iruka's desk, which had shocked the poor fellow out of his mind.

Someone had pointed at her and she was forced to stay behind. She had tripped over a crack in the floorboards and cursed. Curiousity had taken advantage of her and she pried the floor board apart to find a rather large scroll with the kanji for "Kazama" enscribed on it. She had taken it home, being sure to keep it from sight. The problem was that it wouldn't open.

Naru decided to pull it after a cup of... cup ramen. Make that six. She seemed to have this fascination with ramen. It just tasted... good.

Naru pulled out a kunai and decided to cut open the scroll. She hadn't learned about the scrolls requiring blood to open. She wedged the kunai in, or tried to... It slipped and cut her finger. No matter, it would heal.

A couple of drops of blood had fallen onto the scroll. Naru tried again and this time, the scroll opened to her amazement. She began to read.

Welcome, fellow Kazama clan member. It warms my heart to see that the next generation of the Kazama clan is now reading this scroll. Now in order to open the scroll, you have to smear your blood over it. Not anyone else's but the blood of a Kazama clan member. Anyways, this scroll outlines our bloodline limit and the jutsu that are based off it.

The Kazama Bloodline Limit manifests itself as a dojutsu. It's known as the JikanHengagan (Time-shift eye). Once activated, it slows down time depending on the level of the user. There are four levels. The first can slow time by a factor of one-fourth. The second level can slow time by a factor of one-half, and the third level can slow time by a factor of three-quarters. The fourth level is the final stage and the most powerful level. At this point, the user may stop time for short durations of time, moving faster than the speed of light if necessary.

The different levels are indicated through the marks in the eyes. It might be confused with the Sharingan except that it isn't comma shaped but more like ordinary circles.

The activation of the Kazama Bloodline Limit involves the shifting of eye color to amber-gold color, including more wild hair...

You'll need to have the basic knowledge about chakra and be able to mold it and use it effectively. Chakra is the mixing of spiritual and physical energies that can be molded and used by shinobi or anyone who practices in arts that require it. In order to use chakra, start by meditating and trying to bring out chakra. Once you are capable of doing that, you can use chakra.

In order to effectively use it, you must have chakra control or be able to use it. The first step is tree-climbing. Any flat surface will do. Concentrate chakra to your feet and climb up the wall. The feet is the hardest place to gather chakra, so it will definitely boost your chakra control.

"I don't see why not to try," Naru scratched her head.

She stood before the wall. Concentrating chakra to her feet, she planted a foot on the wall. She tried lifting her other foot and lost her balance before falling right on her back.

"Ow, this is harder than it looks," Naru grumbled as she stood back up.

-One month later-

Naru was hanging off the ceiling, trying to improve her chakra control as usual. She had been throwing herself into the scroll. She had improved to the point where she could now stay on the ceiling for an hour straight. Pretty fast for a six year old. She was barely passing the classes, since she spent more of her time on training. She was now reading a portion on something called the Hiraishin no Jutsu.

Engrossed in reading, Naru studied it very carefully.

Hiraishin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) is the pinnacle of teleportation jutsu. Not only is it an effective weapon in combat situations but it also proves useful in transportation in long distance retreats.

"Cool," Naru grinned as she continued to read and study the scroll.

Hiraishin is an advanced form of the Shunshin. Like Shunshin, Hiraishin only allows the user to teleport to a location where the user's chakra is present. The Hiraishin creates flashes of different colors depending on the color the user is wearing. Bright colors show up more brighter than normal. The flashes create light and anywhere that the light reaches is a location where the user may shift to.

Naru read the seals and practiced them. She practiced and practiced and practiced...

-Two yearslater-

Naru was tired. Six teleports and she couldn't do anymore. Not only that but she had stumbled upon the Taijutsu section of the Kazama family which was the Hakiokusaken style. The main thing about this technique was that it required the user to harmonize their own chakra with other living things in the surrounding area in order to draw the massive amounts of chakra required to use the Hakiokusaken's powerful chakra attacks.

Another interesting thing about the Hakiokusaken is that it does not use hand seals, but rather the sheer will and concentration to mold the chakra. It has to be. The chakra in the attacks have to be raw, otherwise the attack is too refined to gain the desired result.

The Hiraishin was rather slow progress. If it weren't for her sucky chakra control, she wouldn't be so damn tired by the time she used it the third time.

So far, she had learned the physical attacks of the Hakiokusaken style: the Crack Shot, Spinning Tackle, and interesting enough, the Burning Knuckles attack.

A rather funny incident occured one time when she practiced it. The Burning Knuckles required her to concentrate chakra to her hand and mark the other person. She would then create a chakra string connecting the two sources and pull herself to the target. The first time she got it right, she was unexpectedly pulled into the wall, smacking her face into the solid plaster.

The Spinning Tackle incident was also funny. She had inverted herself as the scroll told her to and had pushed off. Unfortunately, she had not put chakra into her hands and pushed off hard enough. The result... She banged her head down on floor, hard...

The Crack Shot was another story. The attack was a double axe-kick that was hard to block, since the second kick would come down, breaking the guard position of an enemy.

-One year later-

Naru was standing on the water in her bathtub, continuing to read the scroll. She had grown but was still somewhat of a shrimp. She had mastered the art of walking on water, and continued to walk. Not many problems left with chakra control. Hiraishin was getting easier and she had the physical attacks of the Hakiokusaken down.

Not only that but she was also excelling in Taijutsu since she had the form down. However, she lacked in speed... That was her main problem. The only fast attack she had was the Burning Knuckle. She would have to run a lot, not that she wasn't running too little right now. She had endurance but not speed.

After working with chakra for more than three years, she had made significant gains in chakra reserves, often times able to use jutsu so easily where others had to be careful. She sighed and left the house with her scroll on her back. She found an isolated spot to practice.

A year ago, she found out that it was actually better to practice in wide open spaces.

Synchronizing herself to the chakra around her came to Naru naturally now. She jumped a good five feet and pounded down with a Power Dunk. This was done by making a flat sheet of chakra in front of her hand and punching down through it, creating a chakra-reinforced punch.

She could also fake the Power Dunk and turn it into a Power Geyser, which was an explosion of chakra that was meant to counter charging enemies or be used as a temporary shield against another powerful attack.

The Power Wave was a versatile attack that could easily break down rock walls and send people flying. The attack travels at speeds of 250 miles per hour up to a distance of 500 feet. It has the equivalent force of a hundred pounds per square inch. It covers a four feet high by four feet wide area.

She continued to practice using the Power Wave and using Hiraishin in combination with thePower Geyser. Succeeding every one out of four times. Too bad she didn't have her bloodline limit activated yet. It would prove useful.

-Two Years Later-

The fact that she was able to master the Grand Power Geyser which was an enhanced form of thePower Geysergives credence to the fact that Naru was special.

The Power Geyser is noted as a Desperation Move by the scroll. It causes massive amounts of damage to enemies but drains the user of more chakra and stamina than usual. Not only that but a Desperation Move usually leaves the user open to attack as it drains the user at that point. However, Desperation Move can be used by Naru constantly as she is a stamina and chakra reserve freak... The other two Desperation Moves involve combos such as the Ookami Rendan, and the Fushichou Rendan.

Both of the combination are four hits before ending with a finishing blow. They use a punch, a knee, an elbow, and a high kick. Both of the combination attacks end differently. The Ookami Rendan ends with a Power Dunk while the Fushichou attack ends with a Grand Power Geyser.

Don't forget the Super Desperation Moves that are listed as the final techniques of the Hakiokusaken. The ougi of the style.

One is the Renpuken which uses two Power Geysersin a row to knock the enemy into the air before finishing with a Grand Power Geyser as the enemy comes down.

The most devestating move available in the Hakiokusaken's arsenal is the Chikara Rendan no Kitsune. This technique is based off the Chikara Nagare, which involves a powerful Burning Knuckles, followed by a chakra infused elbow and a super-power Spinning Tackle. The Chikara Rendan no Kitsune uses the first move of the Chikara Nagare, which is the Burning Knuckles multiplied by ten and then a series of powerful punches and kicks, that would then finish up with the Renpuken.

So far, she's mastered Desperation Move, Grand Power Geyser.

Not to mention the Kinjutsu, Kage Bunshin no Jitsu which had a small piece of information tucked into the scroll.

-Another Year Later-

So far so good... Or at least she thought it was. She knew the basic workings of the Ookami and the Fushichou Rendan and the necessary skills to graduate from the ninja academy except for that stupid Bunshin skill. She just hoped she could at least make one stupid Bunshin clone. She had whizzed by the Taijutsu test but slightly lacked when it came to the written portion as she had fallen asleep in class a lot. Her accuracy skills were better than the average.

The final portion was to perform ninjutsu in front of the instructors. There was Iruka and Mizuki sitting at the table. She went through her library of jutsu. She only most of the basics and decided to show off her Power Dunk. This impressed the teachers but when it came down to the Bunshin, she made a copy that fell in upon itself like a boneless chicken.

Iruka sweatdropped and Mizuki smirked.

"Okay, a little too much chakra in that one. Got to spread it out more," Naru grimaced.

Putting her hands in the ram seal again, she concentrated and molded the chakra through sheer will and concentration.

"Bunshin no jitsu!" Naru yelled as she was engulfed in smoke.

The smoke cleared to reveal a group of twenty Bunshin clones all ready to go.

"We can't let her pass," Mizuki objected.

"Why not?" Iruka turned to his colleague confused.

"We just can't," Mizuki pressed.

"She completed all the requirements. She passes," Iruka growled as he picked up one of the forehead protectors.

Suddenly, Mizuki grabbed a kunai from his pouch and leapt to skewer Naru with it.

"Mizuki!" Iruka tried to stop his fellow ninja but was unable to do much.

"Die, demon!" Mizuki screeched as he plunged the kunai at Naru.

Naru stood in shock at being called that. She had never been called that before. Sure, she was called a monster buta demon. Now, she watched as Mizuki tried to kill her. Suddenly, her vision seemed to shift. Mizuki's movement seemed to slow down drastically, and everything moved in slow motion.

She side-stepped Mizuki and everything stopped. Naru let out a breath she had been holding. Mizuki threw the kunai but Iruka took the hit when he knocked Naru over.

"Temee!" Naru cursed as she stood up, "why'd you do that to Iruka-sensei?"

"He got in the way. I'll deal with him later. It's you who shall die," Mizuki raised another kunai and charged.

"Hakiokusaken: Power Geyser!" the resulting explosion destroyed a good portion of the floor and cast Mizuki up into the air like a rag doll.

Naru watched as the Chunnin hit the ground with a thump.

"Pathetic idiot," Naru scoffed as she slumped to her knees, feeling the slight drain from using the Desperation technique.

"What the..." Iruka was speechless.

"Hehe, do I pass?" Naru sheepishly asked.

"I guess," Iruka smiled as he held out the forehead protector he was still holding.

"Great! Now, about that medical attention you need," Naru pondered.

"I'll be fine!" Iruka stood up, "just get me some bandages and stop fussing!"

Naru stood their, shocked for a bit, "Mou! Don't like attention from a lady?"

"I do, but not right now," Iruka ruffled up Naru's hair.

"Hey!" Naru objected, "it's messy enough as it is,"
