SPIRITED AROUND

PROLOGUE

Chihiro was ten when she had first visited the spirit world. Five years after she left, her parents were supposedly killed in a car crash. She ran away to the hidden world to start a new life, but discovered she had to save her friends from an evil being that was taking over spirits, and that Haku had disappeared when trying to save the realm.

After that, she went to defeat the darkness herself. She met a boy named Nasumi, who agreed to help her on her journey but turned out to be the force behind the disaster befalling not just the spirit world, but the universe.

Chihiro discovered that her mother was alive, and that Nasumi was the one that caused the accident that murdered her father. Kohaku revealed himself and rescued Chihiro. She managed to save a possesed spirit, who transformed into a little girl named Sumino. The three came up with a plan to trick Nasumi into admitting defeat, but it ended up failing. They found out Sumino and Nasumi (who's real name was Nokori) were brother and sister, and that Nokori was under a spell. During their final battle, Sumino is murdered by one of Nasumi's attacks. Chihiro saved Nokori from the spell, and Yuuko adopted Nokori. Haku, who had been injured, was being healed, and the sun began to set under the horizon of the spirit world.
