Xander ran his hands over his body, checking that everything was where he'd left it. "So, did it work?" He caught the surprised look on Andrew's face and turned to the mirror to find that his hair was now fire engine red.

Andrew rechecked the ingredients. "Where did you get this sliced valerian root?"

"From that Romanian woman at Camden Market."

Andrew sniffed the package. "Looks like she's given you ginger instead. I'll grab some from the office and pick you up some hair dye."

"Andrew, could you recheck the spell before you go? I seem to smell like tea."
