(my brain got a little loopy last night)

Giles watched silently as everyone gathered together in the library the next day. It had been a hectic Halloween night to say the least. Then he blinked at a folded up costume Willow was carrying with her.

"Oh come on Buffy."

"No Xander. Don't you dare repeat anything of what I did last night."

Xander leaned back in his chair and grinned.

Buffy growled at him.

Willow sat at the far end of the table, writing something on a pad of paper. She seemed oblivious to it all.

"Hey Willow."

She blinked and stared at Xander. "What?"

"We never saw you last night. What did you dress up as?"

Willow shrugged. "Some fanfiction author. He'd apparently left one of his old costumes at a horror convention accidentally."

"Oh dear Lord." Giles yelled.

They all stared wide-eyed at him. "What?"

Giles sighed. "I wondered why that looked familiar." Then he walked into his office. He definitely needed a drink.
