CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Copy-cat now was standing face-to-face with his father. Who didn't really seem pleased with what had happened. "My son!" he said very deeply. "What you have done today is unforgettable! You disrupted the royal wedding… you proved me to be wrong… YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH A COMMONER…" Then he smiled "…and I could never be more proud of you."

Copy-Cat smiled and then reached up and hugged his father which awed the crowd

"I must apologize to you my son." replied the King. "I let rules and traditions blind me to the true potentials that some beings may have, and I almost put the planet in grave danger. Worst of all… I forced you to nearly do something you knew was bad from the start against your will. Perhaps there is someway I can make this up to you?"

"There is, Father." said Copy-Cat, and he began to explain to him, and to everyone how he felt; about being lonely, and not having a life of his own. He walked over to Raven, and held her hands. "I wish to go back to Earth with the Titans, and finally have all my dreams come true."

Raven rested her head on Copy-Cat's chest, and this awed the crowds all the more. Even the King felt all soft inside. "My son… is this truly what you desire?" he asked.

Copy-Cat stood in the center of everyone, and said. "More than anything…" and as soft music began to play, he began to sing his song.

-I wish… to be… like everyone I see

Not special; just an ordinary guy.

Who falls… in love… and leads a greater life;

At least… I'd like to have… the chance to try.

A tear ran down Copy-Cat's check, and many of the others, including the Titans thought that song to be really sad. Even the King felt sorry for his little boy. "If you really feel so lonely my son, you may go as you wish, with my blessing."

Copy-Cat smiled, but everyone else was wondering; who was going to be in charge of the planet now?

It was most fortunate for them that Copy-Cat had planned for this, and knew the perfect one. "Goron… come forth and kneel before me!"

Kirara's son did as he was told, and Copy-Cat gave him the royal sacred Sword from the belt he wore. "Ever since I can remember, Kirara has wanted her son to have the best for him." said Copy-Cat. "I will always remain as the crowned Prince of Pysconia… but in the time of my absence, I hear by dub you… Goron… as my heir and replacement stand-in."

They crowed all gasped happily.

"Do you accept it?" Copy-Cat asked as he held out the sword. Goron hesitated… and then looked at his mother. She nodded her head, and so did King-Omicron.

"I accept with great honor." he said taking the sword from him. The crowd went wild and cheered with joy over their new apprentice Prince. The Titans even cheered along with them.

Before long, it was time to head off. Copy-Cat hugged his father goodbye, and promised to visit from time to time with stories to tell. "Go with care my son." The King said. "I will always love you."

"And I you… my father." Copy-cat complied. "Being your son means so much to me, but…" He walked over to Raven, "A life for me, without a true love, is nothing, even if that life is royalty.

"I wish to go back to Earth and stay with Raven… the love of my life."

Raven blushed, and the crowed awed again… and the King-nodded his head.

Copy-Cat and Raven kissed in front of the whole crowd, making them go wild again… Raven even perked her leg up.

"Oh I am so happy for our friends." cried Star-Fire with tears of joy dripping down her cheek. Suddenly, she felt Robin take her in his arms, "So am I, Star…" her husband said with happiness, and kissed his wife tenderly.

Beast-Boy and Terra saw how happy they looked. "Terra?" asked Beast-Boy… I don't care if it's too early; I'm going to pop it anyways."

Terra's jaw dropped as Beast-Boy got down on one knee and held her hands together. "Terra… normally the cat doesn't marry the dog… but will you make an exception with me?"

Tears of happiness streaming down her face. "You got it Beast-Boyfriend… or Beast-Fiancée!" she giggled, and then she tackled Beast-Boy to the ground and kissed him hard!

"Aw…man!" said Cyborg feeling left out, "Some people have it and-" then he noticed three girl Psyconian wink at him and motion for him to come over. "And some guys… can still get it… Heh, heh, heh, hey!"

One week later…

All seven of the titans had returned tower on Earth.

Copy-Cat decided to leave his ship in the main hangar-deck instead of turning it back into the Sacred-Tower. This way he could spend more time with Raven and the other's instead of guarding it all the time.

Raven and Copy-Cat were finishing their meditation time on the top of the tower outside. Suddenly… Raven felt the sect of herbal-tea drifting through her nose. "Shall we?" asked her new boyfriend.

His lady-friend nodded. They clinked their cups playfully and sipped the tea. "I feel so glad to have someone like you near me, Copy-Cat." said Raven, "I finally have someone like me around."

Copy-Cat smiled. "I feel the same to you, my sweet Raven."

Their heads slowly moved forward, their lips were only a centimeter away when the sound of the alarm sounded.

"TITANS…GO!" cried Robin.

Raven and Copy-Cat groaned, but decided to hold that thought. "Ready?" asked Raven. Copy-Cat gently touched her forehead and transformed into a copy of her, except for his Robin-mask. "Let's do it!"

The Teen Titans… now with an official seventh member would always be there, to protect the city, and fight evil forces.
