A/N: I know what you are thinking… or at least what you SHOULD be thinking. 'Oh no, not another long drawn out Alternate Universe' story. Nope… you're wrong!
Lol, sorry, I'm on a little hyper mode right now. LET'S GET STARTED!
"Heh… Nice outfit loser."
The violet haired girl looked down at her outfit. She was wearing knee-high striped socks, a pair of knee length black stretch pants, and a sweatshirt with a picture of a silvery rose on it. The hood of the sweatshirt was pulled over her head, and it was so concealing all you could see was her eyes. She glanced at the girl who had spoken.
The girl was wearing the typical stereotypical cheerleading outfit, complete with pink tank, pink mini, pink socks, and of course…. BLACK STILLETO HEELS! No, pink shoes. Duh. The girl rolled her eyes and spoke for the first time. She had a quiet calm voice, but it seemed to fill the room, making everyone stop talking and look at her curiously. The soft voice did not seem to match the harsh words that she was unknowingly speaking to the most popular, and most frankly feared, girl in the whole school.
"I'm new here, so I don't know the fashion scene here. But in my opinion, anyone who looks like a bankrupt whore shouldn't be talking about the style of more fashionable people. So… Ta-Ta!" The girl, with a disdainful sniff, turned away and walked off to the office, copying the blonde bimbo's swagger.
"WHY THAT LITTLE…. WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?"
"Kitty…. HUSH! That's the Rachael… the one who… you know…." The blue-eyed, anorexic, glaring girl pointed to the lockers where a sniveling boy was muttering incoherently.
"The one who did that because he hit on her?"
"Yeah…."
The cheerleaders and the white haired boy watched as Rachael opened the door.
The boy grinned.
'Finally….'

At least for the most part, she had a pretty crappy schedule. Oh well… at least this school day ended quicker than her last boarding school. Her Father liked boarding schools for the point of fact that it meant that he never need see her.
That didn't bother her much.
"Oh yeah…this might not be a total torture fest," she mumbled, glancing at her room assignment.
"That's the spirit. In a dump like this, you need all the optimism you can get." Rachael's head popped up, and blinked at the pink haired girl in front of her.
"Hey. I'm Jen. Welcome to Junk City High…"
"I thought it was Jump City."
"It is. I improved it." Rachael and Jen smiled at each other.
"So…where are you bunking newbie?"
"Room… 237."
"Oh, that's my room. Cool. I petitioned the 'man' for just rights. AKA, I was bunking with Terra Markov, resident follower to 'her majesty' Kitten, and bitched until Mr. Wilson got me away from her."
"Nice. You'll have to teach me that sometime."
"No problem."
Rachael looked around the room. Plain, but pretty, she thought. She picked up a framed picture from the desk, of a laughing red haired boy.
"And who might this be?"
"NO ONE." Jen grabbed the picture, placing it in a drawer.
"Oh…really?"
"Yes, really."
"Riiiight."
"So, what's your schedule?"
Rachael dug around her bag and fished out the folded paper.
"What are the odds? Look, we have the same first periods and second periods. And since we bunk together we also have the same homeroom."
"Cool. At least not everyone will be a bi-otch." She pronounced the word like two words separately.
"Yeah. And tomorrow you can meet my friends. Be prepared, this is boarding school, and Jump City has some of the weirdest people on the face of the planet."
"Yeah, we're here."
"Ha-ha, so very funny. Comic gold." The two girls laughed, and Rachael remarked to herself that maybe this school would turn out semi-normal.
Little did she know that tomorrow she would be meeting Jen's classmates. And who had to be in her classes but a certain few people whose favorite colors were pink…?
"Did you hear?"
"RACHEAL ROTH IS HERE."
"At Jump High?" ((A/N: Ha-ha, JUMP HIGH…. Ha-ha.))
"Yeah…"
"Remember what she did to Martin?"
"Mommy… Hold me. I need to be held!"
"Shut up Martin."
A tall red-haired girl walked over to a blue table set up outside. She cocked her head confusedly. She turned to a boy with black hair who was sitting next to her.
"Since I have just moved here, as you know. I know nothing of this Rachael. Who is she?"
The boy she was speaking to answered, his sunglasses glinting in the sunlight.
"It's said that she could be the terror of ANYONE'S nightmare. She is supposed to look plain and even kind of ugly, but also UBER smart. She shoots you down almost faster than you can ask her out."
"Dude, you just said she was ugly. So… why would anyone want to ask her out?"
"…"
"… Well?"
"…For the glory?"
The other boy snorted. He was not short, but sitting next to the tall red haired girl, he looked short. He had blonde spiked hair, with a lock that hung in his face dyed green. His green eyes did not miss the girls sitting nearby who were making eyes at him. He leaned back in his chair, showing off.
"I mean, it just makes no sense. Oh, hey Jen."
"Hi Gar. Hey Dick…and… ah…Kori…can't…"
Gar laughed as the dark haired Dick tried to keep Kori from suffocating Jen.
Kori, with a giggle and a small apology, let go of the pink haired girl. Jen massaged her throat, managing a small thanks to Dick.
"So…. Jen…dude, where have you been? Making out with your crush who you still won't tell us about? Hm?"
"You big bozo." Jen whispered, wanting to start screaming. Unfortunately, walked by at that moment, making it unwise to do so.
"That's BB to you."
"Fine, BB. Anyway, I was talking to my new roommate."
"You already have a new one? Do you need help getting rid of this one?"
"Nah, Dick, I like her." There was a round of gasps. "Her name is-"
"You like a ROOMMATE?"
"Yeah, she's sarcastic and funny. AND an anti-cheerleader."
"So, she's ugly?"
"Nah, she's not ugly."
"So she's almost exactly like you?" Laughing, Gar evaded her hands.
"Retard BB. I like that nickname. Hm…BB. Anyway, you'll meet her tomorrow; you have first and some other periods with her.
"Ok. See you then. Toodles." He sauntered away, and the end of Rachael's first day at Jump High was over.
