"ENOUGH!" Samus Aurian bellowed, in her dragon voice, freezing everyone in place as they tried to leap at each others throats.
"Tala, Misha, meet Tanis Half-Elven, Flint Fireforge, Strum Brightblade, Raistlin Majere, Caramon Majere, Kava and myself." Samus said in a more reasonable tone. "I am known as Samus Aurian, in this form. Companions, meet Tala and Misha." She released them all from the hold of her magic, or telepathy. Samus then stiffened her self, Ears shifting from round human ones to long and pointed Elf ears.
"Tauros! (1)" Samus snarled, and leapt over a clump of bushes, wings unfolding from her back. The companions scrambled to their feet, Kava running ahead with his crude Hoopack. Samus' trail was very easy to follow, as she was shifting into a medium sized dragon-creature.
Kava strayed from the path of crushed vegetation left by Samus, prodding objects with the hoopack. Wandering farther off the path, he tripped over something in the bushes, a root most likely. Kava pulled himself up with his Hoopack, which promptly snapped. Muttering colorful words he had heard Flint use, but in Samus' voice, he chucked the halves of the stick over his shoulder. Searching the bush that had tripped him, Kava found a blackened staff of the length needed for a hoopack. There was no slingshot, but twin slits where handles or hilts could be stuck into the top. Kava claimed the staff happily, and then returned to the path.
Samus charged into a clearing, tail and wings protruding from her human back a mix of dark colors, namely green, red and black, but lined with silver. Each human hand held a long sword, while her wing-claws held smaller swords and her tail curled around the handle of a large ax.
"Raping scum! Get away from the Elves!" Samus bellowed her voice a strange mix of human and dragon. She loosed the ties of her Dragonfear, completely overwhelming the mortals in the party. Kava felt his own anger boil over as he saw the Ox-like creature freeze in the act of straitening over the bloody body of an elf. He, too, released his Dragon Fear, and charged into the fight, which was rather one-sided. The dragon fear was not capable of choosing targets so the remaining two elves were also frozen in place.
"Bobaganoosh!" Kava yelled, and in a voice that was not Samus' or any one else's.
Finally, came a thought from Samus. A ball of purple flame sped toward the Tauros and Samus back winged away.
Raistlin watched in slack jaw amazement, even though his jaw could not move. This three or four day old hatchling just cast a spell that he hadn't known, or even heard of. The ball of purple flame erupted from the top of that staff of his. I must learn it! Raistlin thought furiously. Said purple flame hit the Tauros, and it bellowed in agony as the flame covered it, and became a bubble of acid, slowly eating away at the skin of the creature. Samus charged foreword again, and continued to attack the creature, even though it died rather fast. Kava controlled his Dragon Fear as soon as the creature was dead, however Samus did not, to occupied in cutting the body of the Tauros to small pieces, or into mush. Tanis slowly made his way to Samus.
"It is dead." Tanis said, barely able to speak because the Dragon Fear was much stronger closer to the Dragon. She straitened, and looked back at him.
"I hate the entire race. And don't ask me why." She snarled, looking at the body. "Burn." She pointed at the bloody form, and it caught fire, and followed her finger as she burned the bloody grass around it. Samus stopped the fire, and recalled her Dragon Fear, wings and tail. "It does not deserve a pyre." She snarled as she walked to the edge of the clearing and began to clean her blades. Kava went to chat with the Elves. One had dark green hair and purple eyes, wearing a dark green tunic, while the other had sun-lightened brown hair and beep blue eyes, and both held tight to their belongings as the dragon-kender came closer.
"Kava. Leave them alone." Samus barked in Dragon. Kava was startled enough by this that he meekly obeyed. "Come." She said in common, gesturing for the elves to come with her and the companions to their camp, which was widened by another motion from the now fully human woman. Tanis moved his bedroll to the other side of the fire from both elves.
"Thank you for saving us." The brunette spoke for both. "I am Eilonwy Drathgaurd, and this is Lauren Salinverea. I am grateful for your assistance with our comrade-"
-"Quit being so formal!" Misha yelled out. Eilonwy just nodded and continued less formally.
"The other five ran. I know that they will not be welcome in Kagonesti if they return." Eilonwy said. "We were on our way to Haven."
"Amazing. So were we, or at least, we still are." Samus said. "Perhaps you would like to join us? I have no objections." She glances at Kava. "And neither does he."
"Are you two... mages?" Lauren asked shyly, looking at Kava's staff.
"Not really!" Kava says happy.
"That is Raistlin Majere's job. The one in red. I think you can figure out who, or at least what, Kava and I are." Samus' eyes flickered over to Tas, then back to the pair of elves. "We're dragons, and not of a shade either of you may be familiar with. We're Yellow's, and also neutral, looking to Gilean, not Paladine or Takhisis." She glanced at the sky. Lets hurry to Haven. And an inn." Samus stretched as she walked through the trees. "I want to check on the quality of the beds in this time."
(1) I have no clue how to spell it, but a Taurus is supposed to be a Minotaur like creature that rapes and kills women. I will change the spelling if some one will tell me the correct way.
Lets just assume they spent most of the night chatting.
