Carry Me
by: P.D. Pirl 02/04/06
Sachiko wanted to be numb so, so badly.
Fighting back the tears, Sachiko put on a fierce face and glowered at Rei, but instead of the desired effect, she only succeeded in making Rei laugh at her pouting.
"Sachiko," Rei said in between chuckles, "no one is going to believe you're not in pain with that face. Now, let's get you to the infirmary before your ankle gets any worse." Ignoring Sachiko's protets, Rei slipped her arms under Sachiko's back and knees and gently lifted her.
Sachiko blushed, mumbled a soft "Thank you", and rested her head on Rei's shoulder.
Balance

Sachiko realized how difficult it would be to part with her Onee-sama only when she stood on a stage before a crowd of people and read a very formal, impersonal farewell to her Onee-sama.
Her Onee-sama was leaving.
She stopped, the already flimsy thread finally torn, and she broke. All the weight was coming back to her now; she no longer has her Onee-same to hold her and keep her steady.
But then she felt a presence behind her: strong and warm, yet in need of her own support.
Smiling, Sachiko leaned on Rei.
A promise was made that day.
Pumpkin Pie

Half-asleep, Sachiko tossed around the bed, and when she didn't feel the warmth of Rei's body against her, her eyes flew open. She turned to her other side and found Rei on the floor.
"Don't look at me!” Rei sobbed.
"Rei?" Sachiko called again. "Rei, what's wrong?"
"Last night was the first time we made love! I was supposed to dream about you! I was supposed to relive the most wonderful moment of my life in my dreams!"
Sachiko was almost afraid to ask. "What did you dream about?"
"PUMPKINS! Dancing pumpkins!" Rei whined, "Romance novels have lied to me!"
