I'm in Heaven When You Smile

A S o r a X K a i r i F I C )(ONESHOT)(

...She's so beautiful when she smiles.

"Hey, Sora, want to go to the docks with me?" asked the cherry-haired girl. She stood there, her white shirt and purple skirt touching in a way that made her seem so beautiful to him. Her hair shined in the summer light as her and Sora stood by the sea side shack. Sora never saw Kairi as someone who would ever date him, but he felt so happy when he was around her.

Her smile brightened the room. Sora figured that Kairi had 4 times where she smiles so b r i g h t l y. It wasn't like Sora was obsessed, in fact, he was far from it. But, when someone is in love, they seem to notice things they never noticed before. He pulled the list of smiles into his mind.
The Times When she Smiles
1) W h e n she saw something that was so simple, yet so beautiful, like a flower or a shell
2) W h e n she laughs the most unique, beautiful laugh. It doesn't have to be at something funny, but when she's nervous or happy.
3)W h e n we watch the sunset together on the beach. It's the perfect time to watch the sun fall into the ocean, the water dousing the flame and making the stars come out.
4)W h e n I compliment her on her perfume, even though she isn't wearing any. She just smells nice.
5)W h e n everyone else smiles. Usually it's at something stupid I say, but at least it makes her smile.
"Sora?"

"Yeah, Kairi?"

"Are you okay? You seem to be staring into space!" she seemed a tad bit worried. Her smile had faded into a straight face.

"Oh, yeah," he smiled, "sorry, just another one of my moments." Kairi giggled. Her giggle... It sounded so childish, yet to him it was like hearing the angels sing, "Let's go near the waterfall."

"You are so weird, Sora." she stuck her tounge out at him. Sora grinned and picked a flower.

"For you, mi'lady!" he bowed, looking up, waiting for her to take it.

"Oh, what a gentleman!" she put it behind her ear, " I think we should move away from the waterfall, now. I'm getting a tad bit wet."

"Good idea. Kairi, have you ever though about stuff?"

"Uh, what kind of... stuff?" she asked. Sora wasn't good with specifics.

"Well, you know... The stuff we have done. Where we'll be in about ten years. You know, stuff!" he tried to hide what kind of 'stuff' he wanted her to think about. Like, in the future, how he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

Kairi just stared. She didn't answer for a while. She just walked to the dock, Sora trailing behind. Maybe the stuff she thought about didn't even include him. Maybe she wanted to escape from him and leave him alone on the islands.

"Destiny." she finally spoke. Sora thought she was talking about the island. 'Destiny Islands'... It would make sense, after all, right?

"Kairi? What do you mean?"

"You meant by future, like, what my destiny should be, right?"

"Well, I suppose that could be what I meant, why?"

"You..." is all she said. There was a long pause, the only sound being a the waves smashing into the rocks.

"Well, it's getting late, I suppo-"

"You, Sora. You're my destiny."
