Wow it’s been awhile since I’ve updated!

I made like 5 different chapter two’s, but none of them worked right…

Chapter Two: Play nice

When the computer fiasco was finally over, Grissom and Catherine went home to relax for once.

“So” Catherine said breaking the silence. “Do you want to actually do something, or are we just gonna sit here, snuggled up on the couch all day?”

“Well we could go out for dinner and a movie, if you want…” answered Gil.

Catherine nodded her head and got up, pulling her husband up with her.

“Were do you want to go? Maybe we could go to Battista’s?” suggested Grissom.

“That sounds lovely” responded Catherine, planting a quick kiss on his cheek.

Grissom smiled, and lead Catherine out of the house. Making sure he locked the door on his way out.

-- SIX HOURS LATER --

“That was such a beautiful movie!” exclaimed Catherine, with a smile.

“I guess, but maybe a little less nudity would have made it better” replied Grissom.

‘Eh, I still liked it! Johnny Depp made up for all the naked women” retorted Catherine.

“Why did I agree to along with seeing that movie?” Grissom thought with a sigh.

Grissom and Catherine walked up to the door hand in hand, Grissom unlocking and opening it.

They both walked into their cramped front hallway and kicked off their shoes.

But Grissom couldn’t take it any longer; the movie had aroused emotions and feelings he hadn’t felt in awhile. And being so close to her was making him ever more eager. So he kissed her passionately, on her sweet bubble gum flavoured lips. But she didn’t shy away, she deepened the kiss.

They stood kissing each other passionately for a few minutes until Catherine brook away.

“Let’s move this into a more appropriate room” she said with a wink, while dragging Grissom into their bedroom.

--THE NEXT DAY--

Catherine and Grissom both entered the lab with huge grins on their faces. Again, they both walked down the halls and into the break room, hand in hand. When they entered the break room they saw Greg, Nick, and Warrick all playing Play Station, with Sara cheering them on.

“Hey you guys!” said Catherine.

“Hey mom, dad…” they all said in unison, with out looking up.

Catherine let out a giggle and walked over to the coffee machine, Grissom following her. They both got some, as everyone around the lab likes to call it, sludge coffee. Catherine took a swig of it, and regrettably drank it.

“Gross,” said Catherine “we really need to get good coffee around here.”

Grissom grabbed his coffee and walked out of the break room and into his office. While Catherine sat at the table in the break room, reading a newspaper. A few minutes later Grissom walked back into the break room with paper slips in his hands.

Grissom cleared his though to get everyone’s attention. “I’ve go there, in my hand, some cases, so gather around and I’ll hand them out.”

Greg, Warrick, Nick, Catherine, and Sara all gathered around Grissom, waiting for him to hand out the assignments.

“Okay, Sara, Nick, and me, have a DB in an indoor water park” said Grissom, giving Nick the slip. “And everyone else, Greg, Warrick, Catherine, you guys have a casino robbery.”

They all nodded and went there separate ways.

--WATER PARK--

Grissom, Nick, and Sara all arrived at the crime scene. It was gigantic indoor water park called ‘Great Wolf Lodge’. They walked up to the crime scene tape and walked under flashing their badges. Together they walked up to Brass.

“Hey Papa! How are you?” asked Nick and Sara in harmony.

Brass scowled and said “fine…anyways, there was a dead body found in one of the water slides, we’re not exactly sure how he got stuck in there…um, yeah, well the DB’s name is Adam MacTheil, 36, brown hair and eyes. According to the wife, Lacy MacTheil, he had no enemies, real nice guy, wouldn’t hurt a fly.”

“That’s what they all say” inquired Grissom.

“He was here with his family, the wife, Lacy MacTheil, the son who is 16, Bradly MacTheil, there twin daughters, 14, Stacey and Kitti MacTheil. And, Shaay MacTheil, their other daughter who is 12” finished Brass.

Grissom nodded and said “Okay, Nick I want you to talk to the kids. Sara, talk to the wife, and me and Brass will have to find a way to get the body out.”

“Oh, wait I left one thing out” said Brass “The wife is the, as she says, “The world’s greatest model…” and the husband is, “the best athlete in the world…” concluded Brass.

“Great,” said Sara “we get to deal with rich, snobby people…”

Nick sighed and walked over to the children.

“Hi, I’m Nick Stokes, I’m with the Crime Lab. Is it okay if I ask you a few questions?”

The kids nodded and sat down at a close by picnic table.

“Thank you, but before we go on, can you please tell me your names?” asked Nick, although he already new their names, he wanted to be able to tell the twins apart, they were exactly identical, except for their swim suits.

“I’m Brad MacTheil” said Brad, who was wearing dark green and black swim trunks. “And this is Stacey” Brad said, pointing to the girl in the American flag bikini. “Kitti” pointing to the girl in the red, sparkly bikini “and this is Shaay.” He pointed to the last girl in a blue, green, turquoise, and white striped one-piece bathing suit.

“Nice to meet you” Nick greeted.

Nick took a long look at all of them before he continued. They all had sad, miserable faces. And they were all slumped.

Nick looked at Brad, he had a six pack coming in, but, Nick bet, with a shirt on he didn’t look strong at all. He had dirty blonde hair and dark blue eyes and a nice face. Nick bet all the girls fell for him.

Stacey was different; she had dark brown hair that went past her ears and soft brown eyes. She had a tight stomach and high cheek bones. She also had a small mole under her right eye, making her look more innocent and beautiful.

Her twin sister Kitti looked just like her, she had dark brown hair, but hers went past her shoulders and was a little straighter. She had the same eyes and body as her sister. But she didn’t have a mole; she had two diamond piercings above her left eyebrow and another diamond piercing on the left side of her nose, that were barley noticeable.

Their sister, Shaay, was small and also had a tight stomach. She had light blue eyes that matched her swim suit. She had light brown hair that was tied back in a wet, sloppy, pony tail.

Again, Nick bet, no matter what age, all the oppiste genders fell for them.

“Okay, when was the last time you saw your father alive?” asked Nick, gently.

“I say him a go into the water slide; I was going back up to go on another water slide up there and I waved at him before he went down” said Kitti.

“Okay, thank you” said Nick “did your dad want to come today?”

“Yeah” said Brad, while nodding his head yes “He was the one who suggested it.”

Nick nodded his head and wrote it down.

“Do you know why your dad wanted to come today?”

“No…”said Stacey “we just all thought it was because he wanted a break, or maybe to spend time with the family. Believe it or not, he actually spends a lot of time with us-” “and he likes taking breaks, and spending them with us” finished Kitti.

“Wow” Nick thought “They finished each others sentences; I just thought that was made up in movies…”

“Okay, did your mother want to come?”

“Yeah, she did. She and my dad act different from the other people like them, they’ll take us places with them, to shows and games, that kinda stuff” retorted Brad.

“Do you have any babysitters, nannies, cooks, gardeners?” asked Nick.

“No, only a gardener, he comes every week, when the flowers grow” said Shaay.

“Did you used to have a babysitter or nanny?” asked Nick.

“She got laid off a few weeks ago for trying to steal money from my mom’s purse. Dad got really angry” said Stacey.

“Thank you, that’s all the questions I have right now. And just so you guys know, you did really good. Thank you for being so helpful” said Nick.

“Umm…Mister Stokes?” asked Brad.

“You don’t have to call me Mister Stokes, Nick is fine.”

“Okay, umm…Nick, can you please catch the person who did it?” said Brad while looking down. Nick could tell he was hiding tears.

“Of course Brad, I give you my word. I’m not going to sleep till I catch this guy. Okay?” said Nick.

Brad nodded and told his sisters something that Nick couldn’t hear.

Nick walked over to Grissom and Brass who were now talking to Sara about something.

“What’s going on?” asked Nick.

“Oh good you’re here. There you go Sara, go tell Miss MacTheil she can see her kids now” said Grissom.

Sara nodded and walked away.

“Nick, you and a police officer of your choice, are going to have to go up to the top of the water slide” explained Grissom. “And one of you is going to have to go down the slide in a harness, and the other will be lowering them down.”

“Okay” said Nick.

“And Nick,” said Grissom “Try a small frame person, a lady perhaps?” advised Grissom.

Nick nodded and walked over to the group of police men Brass had lined up.

“OKAY! Listen up!” said Brass “Nick here, will be picking one of you to help him retrieve the body. Any body who doesn’t want to do it, take a step back.”

Only three out of the fifteen officers took a step back. Nick walked back and forth, looking at everyone. His dad’s words still ringing in his head. Two people so far had caught his attention so he told them to step forward.

“What are your names?” asked Nick.

“Lesile Gartner” said one of the women police officers.

“Sakura Hessly” said the other one.

“Okay, since I can’t pick between you two, both of you are going to come up with me” explained Nick.

They both nodded and followed him up to the water slide.

“One of you will put on a harness and the other one will help me lower the other one down.”

“Isn’t it still wet in the slide?” asked Lesile.

“Good question,” said Nick “when everyone was evacuated they turned off the water, and these slides have automatic drying systems, so the slides dry quickly and there isn’t any bad water or any of that stuff on the slide the next day” clarified Nick.

“So” said Nick “Who wants to go down? Or do I have to pick?”

“Um…I guess I’ll do it” said Sakura.

“Good, so Lesile, ready to help me lower her down?” asked Nick.

Lesile nodded and Sakura put on the harness and attached the cable to lower her down.

“This, Sakura, is a microphone head set, so we can communicate" explicated Nick.

So Nick and Lesile lowered Sakura down gently.

“Is everything good so far?”

“Y…..” came a reply.

Nick could barely make out what she just said with all the satctic.

“Was that a yes?” asked Nick slowly.

“Y….h” said Sakura.

“Okay, when you say things into the microphone try and say it slowly, okay?” asked Nick.

“Ooo…aayyy” Sakura said slowly.

Nick sighed and kept lowering her down, till he heard the sound he’d been waiting for.

“S…P!” shouted Sakura.

“Did you find him?” asked Nick.

“Ye…”

“Okay, what is he stuck on?” Nick said slowly.

“I…n’t k…w”

“Look harder please!” barked Nick.

“…w, I…h…nk…t’s…st…y…oo” replied Sakura.

“What?” Nick hadn’t understood any of it.

“I s…d, e…, I t...k… it…ti…ky…oo!”

Nick let out a frustrated sigh “Slower please.”

“E…, I th…k it…sti…y…oo!” came a louder more annoyed reply.

“OH!” said Nick “I know what you said”.

“Fi…ly!”

Just as Nick was about to reply he heard an ear shattering scream come from the tunnel slide Sakura was in.

“SAKURA!” screamed Lesile and Nick in unison.

Dundundundun!

My sincerest apologies for making you guys wait so long!

I injured my pinky! I write with it, so if there are any spelling mistakes and such, blame the fingers that took over the pinkies job. And don’t worry, Sakura and Lesile will be in this story more! And the resturant Grissom and Catherine went to is a real resturant in Las Vegas. And the 'Great Wolf Lodge' is real but it's in Canada, just pretend it's in Las Vegas. And for slides having automatic drying systems, I don't think it's real, I just made it up! Don't hurt me please! (runs away and hides)

The reason they’re acting like they are is because when I do stuff with my siblings we always act stupid around each other, doing and saying stuff that people are age don’t do or say. So that’s why they acted like that…
