Author’s Notes: Second drabble in a day! I’m on a roll, apparently. Could take place at any time Gourry and Lina are together. It’s based on a true story that happened to a friend of a friend—oh, never mind; it happened to my sister.

Markets always had such a large diversity of items. Lina found some of them quite laughable—like those herbal medicines. In her experience, magic worked much better, and was always on hand (that time of the month not included). Not to mention that remedial herbs generally tasted horrible.

She turned to her partner with a mischievous smile. “Hey Gourry, they have medicine said to improve your memory,” she snickered.

“Oh,” he said casually, “I’ve tried taking stuff like that before.”

Lina was a little surprised. “Really?” Then she grinned. “Didn’t work too well.”

“Nah, I always forgot to take it.”
