The Power of Heroes
Prologue: Ash and Misty Meet and Become Life-Long Rivals With Gary and Maria(OC)
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon and if I did Ash and Misty would already be together. I do own this story so don't use it without my written permission from me or else I'll have my Lugia use its Psychic Attack on you.
Ages for Prologue: Ash-3 almost 4/7/10, Misty-3 almost 4/7/10, Gary-3 almost 4/7/10 Maria(OC)-3 almost 4/7/10. Summary: Okay we all know that Ash and Misty met when they were both 10 but, how different would it be if Ash and Misty met when they were three? Later on in this Fic there will be some transforming similar to Sailor Moon but it is not a Pokemon and Sailor Moon Crossover.
It will have some supernatural things in it, like Ash and Misty beginning to develop Psychic Powers at Age 3, but their powers are enhanced by Sabrina's Psychic Powers when they are both exposed.

Prologue: Ash Meets Misty and becomes lifelong rivals with Gary and Maria
Ash's Father, James Ketchum is sitting in the living room with his almost 4 year old son Ash and his wife Delia when he gets a call from Cloud City Gym the eighth gym at this point before the Viridian City Gym.
"Delia dear I am going to start on my own journey to become the Pokemon League Champion so I'm leaving tomorrow and maybe I will close down the Cloud City Gym because they just opened a Gym in Viridian City and they have already made it an official Gym that trainers get the Earth Badge From so the Cyclone Badge is obsolete at this point since a trainer only needs eight badges." James said.
Cerulean City Gym...
Bill Williams is sitting in the living room with his four daughters 3 almost 4 year old Misty, 5 almost 6 year old Lily 7 almost 8 year old Violet and 10 almost 11 year old Daisy.
As he says: "Julia sweetie I am going to start my own Pokemon Journey Tomorrow." Bill said.
Shows a split screen and Delia and Julia start yelling…
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU ARE STARTING A JOURNEY TOMORROW IN 2 DAYS IS YOUR SON'S/DAUGHTER'S 4TH BIRTHDAY YOU CAN'T LEAVE AND IF YOU DO I WANT A DIVORCE." Delia and Julia said angrily.
Split screen shows up again…
"FINE WE WILL GET A DIVORCE I DON'T EVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN AND YOU CAN KEEP THE BOY/GIRL!" James and Bill said angrily.
"STOP IT MY EARS AND HEAD HURT!" Ash and Misty Exclaimed angrily As fate would have it, each husband divorced their wives and the wives got possession of the kids.
The Next day… "Hey Misty you want to go see an old friend of your mom's we went to grade school and high school together while your sisters watch the Gym?" Julia asked. "Oh yes momma is their going to be anyone my age there?" Misty asked. "A boy my age perhaps?" Misty continued. "How did you know that this friend of mine had a boy your age Misty?" "I no know just asking" Misty said.
Meanwhile Pallet Town...
"Hey Ash get up we have guests coming here from Cerulean City some Girl that I went to Grade and High school with and I think she has-Delia was cut off by Ash. "A girl my age momma?" Ash asked. "How did you know?" Delia asked her son "I don't know. I just have a feeling I guess." Ash said.
Meanwhile, Bill and James are on their journeys already. (Bill andJames are both from Pallet Town originally, while Delia and Julia are both from Cerulean City originally. Ash is originally from Pallet Town while Misty is originally from Cerulean City. Gary is originally from Pallet Town while Maria, Misty's rival,who you'll meet later is originally from Cerulean City get the picture.)
Ash is playing in the back yard in his sandbox waiting for Gary to come over(at this point Gary and Ash are best friends) but little does Ash know that some other person will come into his life, as Gary doesn't know that another person will also come into his life.
Ding Dong went the doorbell, Delia answered it. "Oh my god Julia it has been so long nice to see you again and this must be Misty she looks just like you." Delia said. "By the Way, where are your other three kids?" Delia asked.
"Oh you mean Lily, Violet and Daisy; they are all three taking care of the gym." Julia said. "Nice to see you again Delia hey where's James?" Julia asked. "Oh you mean the scum of the universe that took off and went on his own journey I divorced him so where is Bill?" Delia asked.
"Same thing he left on his journey so I divorced him." Julia said. "Um Ms Ketchum where is your boy I would like to meet him?" Misty asked. "Oh okay Misty he is in the back yard playing in the Sand." Delia said as she sat down to talk with Julia. "Thank You Ms. Ketchum." Misty said. "No problem Misty." Delia said as Misty walked outside.
"So Deliah I was wondering if Ash mentioned anything about a girl his age coming?" Julia asked.
"Well yes why?" Deliah asked. "Well you see when Misty was excited to go with mne here she said something about a boy her age being here I don't know how she knew so I asked her and she said that she just has this feeling." Julia finished.
"That is exactly what happened to Ash." Deliah said. Out in the back yard Misty saw Ash in his sandbox making a castle and to her surprise Ash turned around. "Hi can I play with you in da sand please handsome?" Misty said sweetly to Ash.
'Wow what a purty girl, is this her the one I sometimes deam about.' Ash thought. "Sure my name's Ash . What's your name be bootiful?" Ash asked.
"My name Misty nice to meet you." . Misty said as she slightly blushed. "Wanna help me build thiscastle Misty you get to be queen." Ash said happily. "SureI willhelp you." Misty said.
Meanwhile just outside the fence to the Ketchum back yard...
Gary was watching as Ash and Misty's castle got bigger and bigger. "What's with Ash we were supposed to build castle together hey wait Maria you wanna show off to Ash and that girl and build aneven Bigger Castle?" Gary asked.
"Sure Gary we willmake a bigger castle and knocktheirs down he he he." Maria(Misty's rival) said.
"Somethings mssing Ash." said Misty "What's missing Misty?" Ash asked. "Crowns." Misty said. Ash then picked a bucket up which was filled with water and Misty also picked up a bucket which was also filled with water. They placed them on each others heads which totally drenched them "HEY WHATYOU DO THAT TO ME FOURASH/MISTY!" They both yelled in unison but also laughed.
"Hey Delia come over here and look at this aren't they so cute together I think they may end up getting together someday." Julia said to Delia as she walked over.
"Look Julia they're flirting already they make a cute couple." Delia said.
"Let's just hope they don't end up getting divorced like we did." Julia said as she sighed.
"Hey Misty." Ash said. "What?" Misty asked. "We're best friends right?" Ash asked. "Right." Misty said as she hugged Ash.
"Hey Ash you're forgetting another friend of yours. " Gary said. "And Misty you're forgetting another best friend." Maria said. Gary and Maria knocked down Ash and Misty's castle.
"WE WERE THE BEST OF FRIENDS GARY/MARIA NOW THAT YOU WRECKED OUR BOOTIFUL CASTLE WE ARE NO LONGER FRIENDS, WE ARE RIVALS HMM!" Both Ash and Mistyexclaimed in unison.
"HA HA HA WUT A COUPLE OF LOSERS LET'S GET OUT A HERE!" Both Gary and Maria said.
Ash and Misty started crying and hugged each other their mothers heard that "Ash/Misty what's wrong? what happened?" Both Deliah and Julia said to their respective kids. "Gary and Maria wrecked me and Misty's castle." Ash said through tears. "Yeah and Ashy and I wok so hard on it too." Misty said also through tears.
Later that same day...
"Momma can Missy spend da night tonight because both of our birthdays are tomorrow?" Ash asked. "It's okay with me if it is okay with Julia. Delia said. Iis it okay Julia?" Deliah asked. "Fine with me." Julia said. "I'll go back home and come back for tomorrow." Julia finished.
"Friends to the end Misty?" Ash asked as he reached out for Misty's hand.
"Friends to the end." Misty said as she reached out for Ash's hand but to Ash's surprise Misty also kissed him on the cheek, Ash was about to get mad but then just decided to kiss her cheek back since Misty kissed his cheek. Both of them slightly blushed. "Bye Misty you behave for Mrs. Ketchum okay?" Julia said. "I will momma I will." Misty said as she kissed her mom goodbye. "Um Ash how did you know that Misty's birthday was tomorrow which is the same day as yours?" Mrs. Ketchum asked.
"I just have a feeling that's all." Ash said as he and Misty went to bed(different beds sickos.). 'How did I know about you Ashy?' Misty thought as she fell asleep. 'I don't get it how did I know bout Misty?' Ash thought as he went to sleep right after Misty did.
The Next Morning...
"Wake up you two because it is your birthdays. "Delia said. "Momma do we have to get up we tired?" Ash asked. Delia just gave him a look. "Okay Okay Misty Wake up happy birthday." Ash said as Misty woke up. "You two look so cute together I have to take a picture hold hands kids." Delia said. "Okay" Ash and Misty both said. Later that night was the party and Ash and Misty enjoyed it.
Then after the party Ash and Misty said goodbye. "Misty do you have to go I gonna miss you?" Ash asked. "Sorry Ash, I have to go home with momma, but I know we will meet again someday." Misty said. "Me too I know we will be reunited sometime bye Misty Ilove you." Ash said. "Aw I love you to Ashy friends to the end?" Misty asked. "Friends to the end." Ash responded. Both Ash and Misty hugged. and said their goodbyes.
Three years later Ash and Misty are almost seven...
"I am going to be seven in two days" both Ash and Misty said as it showed a split screen. 'I'll see you soon Ash.' Misty thought. 'See you soon Misty.' Ash thought.
Both Ash and Misty knew what the other was thinking because they both have Psychic Powers.
Two Days Later...
"Wake Up Happy Birthday Birthday Boy/Girl" Both mothers said as it showed a split screen.
Later that day..
"Julia hi how are the kids?" Deliah asked. "Just fine is this Ash boy has he grown?" Julia asked. "Hi Mrs. Williams yes it's me." Ash said. Just then Misty walked up "My My My Julia Misty sure has grown a lot since she was four" Deliah said. "Hi Mrs. Ketchum who is this boy Mom?" Misty asked.
"You don't remember him Misty this is Ash you two were the best of friends when you were younger."
"Me friends with him/her whatever." They both said as they turned away from each other. 'Hey wait a minute this seven year old boy is pretty handsome why do I feel like I am connected with him Psychicly could he be who I think he is?' Misty thought.
'Hold on I feel like I know this beautiful girl but I'm not sure for some strange reason I feel like I am Psychicly connected with her.' Ash thought. "Hi my name is Ash Ketchum What's your name?" Ash asked Misty. "Hi Ash my name is Misty Williams I feel like I know you from somewhere." Misty said. "Same here." Ash said. "But How?" Both Ash and Misty asked one another.
Then all the memories started coming back to them even the one where Gary and Maria wrecked their sandcastle and just glared at them which made Gary and Maria go flying. Memories started gradually coming back gradually coming back and gradually coming back.
Back to the main part of the story..
"Ashy?" Misty said with tears in her eyes "Misty?" Ash asked with tears in his eyes. "It's you it's really you!" Ash and Misty exclaimed as they hugged each other than broke away from the hug. "It's been a long time Ash." Misty said drying her tears. "I know it has Misty I know it has." Ash said also while drying his tears. "Happy Birthday." They both said in unison as they hugged.
"I'm so glad to see you Misty." Ash said.
"Same here it is good to see you again Ash." Misty said. "Hey Ash these are my sisters Lily, Violet and Daisy." Misty said.
"Sisters this is Ash." Misty said. "Like Nice to Meet you." All of them said in unison.
"I told you that we would meet again didn't I Misty?" Ash asked. "Yes you did and I knew we would." Misty said as she hugged her long time friend.
"Well Misty what do you want to do?" Ash asked.
"I don't know lets go swimming." Misty said.
"Um Misty I would love to except I don't have my Swimming Trunks with me." Ash said.
"Um Ash I sort of figured that Misty would want to go swimming so I took the liberty of bringing your swimming trunks." Delia said.
"Thanks Mom." Ash said. "Come on Ash lets get changed." Misty said. "Okay" Ash said. After they changed Ash and Misty looked at each other Misty was wearing a bikini and Ash was wearing his swimming trunks. Even though they were only seven they still liked the way one another looked you could tell because they were both staring at each other and they both went up on the high dive and jumped off together holding hands.
There was another party that night and Ash stayed over one night and the next day he went back home
"Ash will I ever see you again?" Misty asked sadly. "I know we will still be friends to the end Mist?" Ash asked. "You better believe it." Misty said as she hugged him goodbye. They kept in touch for a while but then they basically forgot each other and it would stay that way until they met again when they were ten.
Three years later a week before Ash and Misty's 10th Birthday in the Cerulean Gym...
"Misty like you can't do anything right you're just like a total runt and don't even look as beautiful as us you like don't deserve to be called a Sensational Sister." Daisy said.
"I am too a sensational sister and you can't do anything about it there are Four Sensational Sisters not Three Four." Misty boomed angrily and made Daisy fall into the pool with her Psychic Powers.
"Like Misty how did you like do that?" Daisy said tredding water in the pool. "I-I don't know you just made me mad that's all." Misty said.
Meanwhile in Pallet Town outside Oak's Lab...
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M A LOSER GARY YOU'RE THE LOSER AND I STILL HAVEN'T FORGIVEN YOU FOR WHAT YOU AND MARIA DID TO ME AND MISTY'S SANDCASTLE WHEN WE WERE THREE!" Ash said really angrily as he glared at Gary and made him fly up with his Psychic powers.
Gary came to the ground and landed on his back luckily he landed on the grass. "H-How did you do that Ash?" Gary said as he laid there on the ground.
"I-I don't know you just made me mad that's all." Ash said as he tried to help Gary up but Gary batted his hand away "I don't need your help to get up Ash I can get up by myself." Gary said.
"Okay Fine With me" Ash said as he walked away from Gary.
Back to the Cerulean Gym...
"I'M SICK OF YOU THREE TREATING ME LIKE SCUM I'VE HAD IT I'M GOING TO LEAVE AND I WON'T RETURN UNTIL I BECOME A GREAT TRAINER!" Misty yelled as she stormed to the rack and grabbed the Pokeball that contained her Starmie inside it then she ran upstairs to pack.
"Bye Mom I'm sorry but I have to go. Daisy and them are driving me nuts and I just feel like for some reason that my sisters don't appreciate me I'll write as much as I can Mom." Misty said.
"I know you will just be careful you are my Baby and I don't want you to get hurt call me in a week so I can wish you a happy Tenth Birthday okay Misty." Julia said.
"Don't worry mom I will bye I love you." Misty said as she kissed her mom good bye and used her bike to go do some fishing and try to catch some Pokemon.
Back in or near Pallet Town...
A week went by and Misty caught a Staryu and a Goldeen and didn't catch anything else.
"What time is it I have to go." Ash said as he put on shoes and ran to Oak's lab only to be confronted and harrassed by Gary. He then went to Prof Oak's Lab and was very disappointed that he couldn't get a starter Pokemon but was happy when he got Pikachu but Pikachu didn't like it. Later that day he was driven to a cliff by a flock of Spearows so he had no choice but to jump into the river. He then saw a fishing line in the water and no Pokemon were on it so he tugged on it Misty felt it and jumped up to reel it in.
"I think I got something oh it must be a really big one." Misty said as she pulled out the fishing line only to be disappointed to see that it wasn't a Pokemon. "Oh it's just a kid ooh and A Pokemon are you okay?" Misty asked as Ash looked up at the girl with the Ponytail on the Left side in a yellow Tank Top, Jean Shorts rolled up and red suspenders and her piercing blue eyes and fiery reddish-Orange hair.
"I'm okay." Ash said as he looked up at her and smiled and slightly blushing. Misty was also slightly Blushing but stopped after seeing the terrible condition Pikachu was in.
"Not you look what you've done to that poor little thing." Misty said as she slapped Ash across the face. "Is it Breathing?" Misty asked. "I think so 'her eyes and hair look so familiar have I met her before?' Ash thought. "Hey thanks for saving us." Ash said. 'I feel like we've met before but where when?' Misty thought.
"Hey my name is Ash Ketchum from the town of Pallet what is yours?" Ash asked her but sort of had an idea who she was.
"Hi Ash my name is Misty Williams from the city of Cerulean." Misty said. "They're coming back run!" Ash said as the Spearows came back.
"Don't just stand there that Pokemon needs treatment right away there is a medical center not too far from here in Viridian City." Misty said.
"You mean a hospital?" Ash asked.
"Yes for Pokemon(Ash takes her bike) Wh-What are you doing?" Misty asked.
"I'm borrowing this." Ash said. "That's my Bike come Back here." Misty screamed.
"I'll give it back someday." Ash said as he rode off. "oh you." Misty said as she put her hands on her hips. 'Why do I feel like I've met him before?' Misty thought.
'Why do I feel like I met her before Misty Williams that name sounds familiar and her hair and eyes look familiar too could it be her? nah couldn't be.' Ash said.
Little did Ash know that it was his best friend that helped him build the castle that Gary and Maria wrecked when they were three but they both sort of thought who the other was.(Psychic Powers you know)
