Main girl: If there's a prize for rotten judgement,
I guess I've already won that
No man is worth the aggrivation
That's ancient history,
Been there
Done that

Yup. Gabriela Montez and Troy Bolton. Flirted, and are now dating. Just like a fairytale, isn't it? Not quite.

Troy and Gabriela were living inSan Francisco. They had graduated and they were looking at their college that they both got accepted into, Stanford. They had toured the city and had done all of the touristic things you can do. So now they were at the beach next to the Golden Gate Bridge, lookingat the side of Marin County. They could see the sunset and the whole city. It was absolutely gorgeous. Troy was in dark denim jean shorts, a white t-shirt that said in big, bold, black letters: "If you don't like my attitude then stop reading my shirt", and had on black J's, or Jordans if you don't know that. Gabriella had on a black flutter v-neck top, light washed jean capris, black flip flops, black draped rope earrings with a small silver stud on her second piercings (ears) and a diamond stud on her cartilage piercing, a shiny beaded long necklace (turquoise to add some color, bold yet brilliant since it stands out and is gorgeous), different sized black and white bangles (black& white is not mixed, size ranging from bold to thin), a promise ring on her left middle finger (no s.x before marriage) on her manicured fingers, makeup (concealer, blush, light colored lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara and nude color lip liner) and a fairly large sized shimmery rouched hobo bag containing a many things. (a/n: i took out the bag's description. I went WAYYY overboard. Sorry, I get carried away)

They were sitting on the sand (don't worry, their clothes won't get ruined or sandy lol). Surprisingly, it was a warm day with a light breeze (it's usually freezing here). Gabriela had her iPod on full blast so they can hear it without having to put the earphones in their ears, and she was taking pictures with Troy, who was reluctant to have his picture taken. Once she finished, she started taking pictures of the city, from her view, and some people walking by. Ever since she met Troy, her whole life was changed. Sure, she did have a knack for math, butit wasn't her passion. She soon found her passion when she was visiting a photo gallery. She decided that she would try out photography and soon fell in love with it. She was going to Stanford to study medicine, in hope of becoming a oncologist. Her mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She immediately went into chemotherapy. Gabriela was there when her mother's hair started to fall out. She was there when her mother asked her to help shave off her hair. Now, her mother was with her aunt while Gabriella was in San Francisco with Troy.

"Troy, how do you think it'll be now that we live here?" Gabriela asked. That question had been bugging her for weeks. What would she do without her mom, her friends, her life? Sure, she had lived here before, but for the last two years, she had gotten so used to New Mexico. But shouldn't she be happy that she's back in her hometown and probably see some of her old friends? The main thing that bothered her is that her new friends, her best friends, were all taking separate roads and she wouldn't see them. Taylor was going to Harvard with Chad, but Taylor was going to Harvard Medicine and Chad was going to Harvard Law, Kelsi was going to Juliard, Ryan was going to USC, Zeke, well he would be going to SF with them to San Francisco Culinary Arts School, Jason was going to Stanford, too, and Sharpay was going to UC Berkeley.

"Well, we'll see Sharpay and we'll see Zeke, and we'll see Jason." The whole 'gang' had changed in their Junior and Senior years in HS. Taylor and Chad still dated, but everyone else went different ways. Zeke started to cook, along with his passion of baking, Ryan got out of acting and singing and started filming in hope of becoming a director, Gabriela started photography, Troy, who was still in basketball and landed a scholarship to Stanford, along with Gabriela (because of her smartness), had started to take upmanagement in hopes of owning a restauraunt someday, partnered with Zeke, Kelsi is studying to be a dancer, and Jason and Sharpay (they are not dating) took a new road together as best friends. They had become more Earthly. Jason was hoping to major in business, taking a course called "The Center for Global Business and the Economy", so maybe one day he could change the way we live and find ways to save us from destroying the Earth and majorly, was studying to be in journalism, and hopefully write for the San Francisco Chronicle. She had also recently fell in love with animals, became a vegetarian, and got an internship at PETA. If writing didn't work out, she wanted to become an co-anchor woman for KTVU Channel 2 News, complete Bay Area news coverage (their 'slogan'). The 'gang' also seperated. They stayed best friends, but Kelsi and Jason broke up and Jason got engaged, Kelsi found a boyfriend that was bisexual, and it turned out she was, too, so that worked out, and Sharpay and Zeke broke up. Well, Zeke broke up with her and they stayed great friends. Zeke now has a very serious girlfriend named Jenny and Sharpay is dating the co-anchor for KTVU, so that'll help her get the job and they'll work together.
"Don't worry, it'll be fine."

"Um, Troy. Do you ever think that life's going by too fast," Gabriela asked nervously. She was feeling overwhelmed by the fact that they'd be going to college. She was even nervous that she was going to her first baseball game tomorrow atPac Bell/SBC/AT&TPark (they change the name too much).

"Yeah, but I know that as long as you and I are together, that's all we need. I love you," Troy said looking at her with love and passion in his eyes.

That made Gabriela think. She hoped Troy wouldn't notice it, but he brought it up so much that he must have. No matter how many times he'd say it, and he said it for the past month, Gabriela couldn't bring herself to say those words back. She didn't want to feel that way, she was in denial. She was so against it from what she saw when she was younger, her parents always fighting which led to a divorce. She couldn't be, she just couldn't. She kept on denying it, but in her heart she knew it was true. She couldn't bring herself to say or believe that she was in love. Troy had told her so many times, yet she would never say it back.

Girls:
Who'd ya think you're kidding?
He's the earth and heaven to ya
Try to keep it hidden, honey we can see right through ya
Girl ya can't conceal it
We know how you're feelin', who you're thinking of

Main Girl:
No chance, no way, I won't say it, no no
Girls:
You swoon, you sigh
Why deny it, uh oh
Main Girl:
It's too...cliché
I won't say I'm in love
(Oooooh ooooh oooh)

Main Girl:
I thought my heart had learned its lesson
It feels so good when ya start out
My head is screaming "get a grip, girl!"
"Unless you're dying to cry your heart out!" Ooooh oooh

Gabriela had been in love before, or so she thought. They were Freshmen in high school here in San Francisco. They went to a Private Catholic school called Sacred Heart which is located in the heart of San Francisco. She was walking to class one day and saw her boyfriend. They had been going out for 4 months and they were in love, or so she thought. While she was walking towards him, a girl with gorgeous, wavy red hair and a petite body walked towards him with a smile on her face, the whiteness of her teeth could blind you. She was wearing a white polo shirt and a plaid skirt. She looked gorgeous. She walked up to the boy, Gabriela's boyfriend, and gave him a big hug. Gabriela thought they were probably friends. Then right then and there, she kissed him, right on the lips. Not a little kiss, but a long one. They let go after about a minute and walked hand in hand to their classroom. Gabriela confronted him after school. He admitted to cheating on her. Apparently, he had recieved some information that Gabriela was sick that day, so he thought she wouldn't be there to see them. The girl apparently knew that he and Gabriela were dating, so they kept it a secret. Gabriella had lost her first love, on the day she was going to tell him that she loved him.

Girls:
You keep on denying
Who you are and how you're feelin'
Baby, we're not lying, hone we saw ya Hit the ceiling
Face it like a grown up
When ya gonna own up that ya got, got, got it bad?

"Gabriella, do you love me," Troy asked.

"Troy, I do like you so much, but I don't love you," she said with sadness in her voice. Troy could tell that she was trying too hard to say she didn't love him, and he knew that she did in fact love him, but yet something told him it was fear that was keeping her.

"That's fine," Troy said. He gave her a long, passionate kiss telling her that all he felt for her was love. Maybe that would change her mind.

I'm in love Gabriela thought. She couldn't bring herself to say it no matter how hard she wanted to. So she did the first thing she could do, she ran with tears in her eyes. She hoped that Troy would chase her, but he didn't.

Sha la la la la la...
