An Orange Archipelago Romance

Summary: This takes place right after Ash earned the Spiked-Shell Badge from Trovita Gym Leader Rudy. Ash is wondering why Misty decided to continue with him instead of stay on the island with Rudy and be Marri's Big Sister.
"Misty you know you didn't have to stay with me. You could of stayed with Rudy." Ash said.
"No way Ash you still owe me a bike." Misty said.
"Misty is that the only reason you follow me? If it is here is the money for it take it and if you want to leave leave." Ash said with tears in his eyes.
Misty saw this and thought. 'Ash is so sensitive, if I leave it will probably break his heart. If I stay he will think it is just for the bike.' Misty thought.
"Here you go Misty if you want to leave when we get to the next island with a town you can. It is up to you." Ash said as he handed Misty the money for her bike reluctantly.
"I will think about it Ash." Misty said. "Whatever you decide it is fine with me as long as we stay friends forever." Ash said.
"You know we will Ash. We are Best Friends." Misty said as she embraced him in a friendly hug. Ash did the same thing. 'Hey this feels good a girl other than my mom is actually hugging me. A cute one too.' Ash thought.
'It feels so good being hugged by Ash even if it is just a friendly hug.' Misty thought.
"Misty why did you come with me instead of staying with Rudy?" Ash asked.
"IS THERE A PROBLEM WITH ME STAYING WITH YOU ASHY-BOY!" Misty scolded and then covered her mouth realizing that she just called Ash Ashy-Boy.
"N-No not at all Mist-Girl. I just didn't expect you to stay with me after I paid you back for the bike I destroyed. Of course you can stay if you want to I don't mind." Ash said while Blushing he also covered his mouth realizing that he just called Misty Mist-Girl.
"Ash that is so sweet of you. Sorry I called you Ashy-Boy." Misty said blushing.
"No problem Misty, sorry I called you Mist-Girl." Ash said blushing.
"Don't worry Ash. I forgive you besides that it looks like Pikachu and Togepi are having a good time. I would hate to separate them for lord knows how long." Misty said.
"I'm glad that you aren't leaving Misty. I still don't get why you didn't stay with Rudy it was obvious that you liked him." Ash said.
"Maybe so but I just met him I mean we have known each other for over a year." Misty said.
"I guess you're right Misty." Ash said.
"By the way Ash thank you for paying me back for the bike." Misty said even though she didn't care about the bike anymore, she just used that as an excuse to follow him. Now that she didn't have that excuse anymore she was wondering how much longer she could hold her true feelings in.
"No problem Misty. I promised I would pay you back and I did. I am just glad that you are still traveling with me because you are my best human friend." Ash said. He also didn't know how much longer he could hold his true feelings in because he actually liked her for more than just a best friend. Ash then battled Tad just like he did in "Charizard Chills" and won.
"This is a peaceful Island isn't it Ash?" Misty asked there was no answer.
"..." Ash was too busy staring at Misty and was whacked in the head with her fan. "Wha What did you do that for Misty?" Ash asked.
"I asked you a question and you didn't answer. I noticed you staring at me and had to snap you out of it to get an answer from you." Misty said.
"What did you ask?" Ash asked.
"I asked you what you thought about this island." Misty said.
"Oh sorry it is quite peaceful. There is no sign of Team Rocket." Ash said.
"Yeah you're right I wonder where they are oh well. Come on Ash lets go for a swim." Misty suggested.
"Okay." Ash said as he went behind a tree and changed into his swimming trunks.
Misty went behind a tree and changed into her two-piece Yellow Bikini with a Star in the center of her chest piece. Ash and Misty stared at each other for a while and blushed.
"Hey Misty I bet you I can beat you to the water." Ash said.
"Not on your life Ash, I will beat you." Misty said.
"Loser has to buy dinner." Ash said.
"Okay I hope you got money Ash Ketchum." Misty said.
"More like I hope you got money Misty Williams." Ash said.
"Whatever." Ash and Misty said as they shrugged and headed to the water. They both got there at the same time so no one has to buy dinner except for Tracy.
"WE CAN'T UNTIL WE PAY THE BOSS BACK!" Jessie and Meowth said in unison as they whacked James on the head.
'He said me. Does Ash have a Crush on me?' Misty thought. "I'm glad I decided to continue traveling with you... I mean you and Tracy." Misty said as she blushed and hesitated.
'She said you and not you and Tracy or you guys at first. Does Misty have a Crush on me?' Ash thought.
"Ash, Misty, Lunch is ready." Tracy said after he got back from buying at a little cafe a few minutes up the road, luckily it was still warm.
"Come on Mist let's go eat." Ash said as he covered his mouth and Blushed.
"Okay Ashy, come to think of it I am quite hungry after our swim." Misty said as she too covered her mouth and blushed. Ash and Misty just smiled at each other and walked to camp oblivious to the fact that they were hand-in-hand.
"Hey Ash hey Misty time to eat ha ha ha ha ha ha." Tracy said as he began laughing.
"What exactly are you laughing at Tracy?" Ash and Misty asked in unison giving him the evil-eye.
"Oh nothing just the fact that you are holding hands with each other." Tracy said. Ash and Misty then looked at their hands and realized that they were Interlocked. They then blushed and pulled away.
"S-Sorry Misty I didn't know that I was holding your hand." Ash said.
"I'm sorry too Ash I didn't realize I was holding your hand either." Misty said. Ash and Misty then sat down right next to each other and ate.
"Hey Tracy could I talk to you after Lunch please?" Misty asked.
"Sure Misty." Tracy said.
"Could I talk to you after Misty is done talking to you please?" Ash asked.
"Sure thing Ash." Tracy said.
Tracy and Misty went off to talk...
"I don't know what to do Tracy. I can't bring up the fact that Ash owes me a bike anymore because he paid me back for it. What should I do?" Misty said.
"I don't know unless the tendency for you to bring up your bike was just used to cover up something like-" Tracy was cut off by Misty.
"Like what Tracy? Love?" Misty asked while Blushing.
"Exactly, why else would you continue to follow Ash around after Rudy invited you to stay with him." Tracy said.
"It was because of the bike. Now I might as well leave I can't use the "Bike" excuse anymore. What should I do Tracy?" Misty asked.
"Misty that is up to you. If I were you, I would just tell him the truth." Tracy said.
"How can I tell him that I Love him?" Misty started. "When I don't even know if he feels the same way toward me?" Misty asked blushing.
"Somehow Misty, I think Ash feels the same way about you that you feel about him." Tracy said.
"How do you know Tracy?" Misty asked.
"The way he looks at you all the time. Also the fact that whenever you are holding Togepi he stares at you." Tracy said.
"Okay Tracy. I will tell you the real reason why I didn't stay with Rudy. I Love Ash Ketchum, I have since we first met. I just fell for him even more when I saw how much he cared for his Pokemon." Misty said.
"Why don't you just tell him Misty?" Tracy asked.
"I am afraid he will reject me." Misty said.
"You have known him for a long time Misty. I don't think he will reject you. Even if he does, at least you tried." Tracy said.
"You know what Tracy? You're right it is better to try and get rejected, then it is to not try at all." Misty said. "That is good Misty go get him girl." Tracy said.
"Thanks Tracy." Misty said as she went to go get Ash.
Ash then went to talk to Tracy...
"Tracy, I don't know what to do. Misty and I are Best Friends, but I want to be more. I just don't want to ruin the friendship we already have." Ash said.
"Having a hard time keeping your true feelings in Ash?" Tracy asked.
"Yeah." Ash said. "Then just tell Misty how you feel. I think she will respect you." Tracy said.
"I know she will but what if she rejects me." Ash said. "You have something for Misty don't you Ash? Something like-" Tracy was cut off by Ash.
"Something like what Tracy? Something like Love?" Ash asked.
"Well do you Ash?" Tracy asked.
"Yes in fact those two Gym Leaders that hit on Misty made me quite jealous. Now I know what Rudy meant when he said 'Ash I hope you know that you are a very lucky guy.' I am glad she decided to continue on my journey with me. Thanks Tracy, you made me realize my true feelings for Misty. I Love her very much." Ash said as he rushed off to talk to Misty.
"Good Luck Ash you go boy go get her." Tracy said.
"Thank you Tracy." Ash said as he ran faster toward the direction where Misty was. "Pikachu could you and Togepi leave Misty and Me alone for a while please?" Ash asked. "Pikaaaaaaaa Togeeee."(Sure good luck Ash/Daddy) Togepi and Pikachu said in unison as they went off to play.
Ash now has arrived to talk to MIsty...
"Hey Misty you wanted to talk to me about something?" Ash asked.
"Yes Ash I wanted to tell you my real reason for staying with you." Misty said.
"And Misty I wanted to tell you the real reason I got so jealous about Danny and Rudy." Ash said.
"Ash, I didn't stay with Rudy because I wanted to travel with you. I just used the bike as an excuse to keep following you. I never wanted the bike back. Now that you kept your promise and paid me back, I don't have that excuse anymore. I am following you well because I Love You." Misty said as she blushed.
"Misty, the reason why I got so jealous of Danny and Rudy hitting on you is because I didn't want to lose you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I got jealous well because I Love You too Misty." Ash said.
Tracy was then caught spying on Ash and Misty by well, Ash and Misty themselves...
"Now doesn't it feel good to get that off your chest." Tracy said as he had Togepi and Pikachu on his shoulders.
"TRACY, YOU THREE WERE SPYING ON US THIS WHOLE TIME!" Ash and Misty said in unison as they had flames behind the huge angry bodies.
"S-Sorry you two Pika Toge." Pikachu, Togepi, and Tracy said in unison.
"Forgiven." Ash and Misty both said in unison. Ash and Misty then stared at each other for five minutes. They then came closer and closer tilted their heads and their lips met in a hot passionate French Kiss.
'Finally' Tracy, Pikachu, Togepi, Ash and Misty thought simultaneously.
Enter Team Rocket interrupting the first kiss of Ash and Misty...
"This Romantic Moment is nice but Prepare for Trouble." A Female Voice said.
"And make it Double." A Male Voice said. "Bla bla bla blatity, bla bla." Team Rocket finished their stupid motto.
"Ruining our Romantic Moment You will pay Pikachu/Staryu Thunderbolt/Water Gun." Ash and Misty said in unison as Staryu's Water Gun carried Pikachu's Thunderbolt causing Team Rocket to blast off again.
"Finally rid of those three stooges." Misty said.
"Hey Mist?" Ash asked.
"Yes Ashy?" Misty responded.
"We are still Best Friends right?" Ash asked.
"No Ashy, we are more a lot more than Best Friends we are Boyfriend and Girlfriend and we will be together forever right?" Misty asked her true Love.
"Together forever Mist." Ash said. Ash and Misty then once again Made-Out and fell to the ground and continued to Make-Out(Don't even think about you Sick-os)
Epilogue:
Ash and Misty continued to travel together. After Ash won the Orange League, anyone who has seen the Anime knows that Tracy decided to stay with Professor Oak as his aide.
Brock then returned and traveled with Ash and Misty again. Just like the Anime Ash competed in the Johto League and made it to the Elite Eight.
After the Johto League, Brock left for a while and came back. Ash then set off to the Hoenn League alone and met a girl named May. Anyone who has seen the Anime knows that Misty came back. Misty then returned to her Gym to run it. Enough of my rambling.
Ash competed in the Hoenn League and made it to the Elite Eight before being defeated by Tyson who eventually went on to win it. Ash and company were eventually reunited with Misty who left to go back to her Gym.
After the Hoenn League, being reunited again and separated from Misty; Ash and his friends minus Misty went to take on The Battle Frontier, May also competed in some more contests. Oops I'm rambling again.
Ash and Misty were then reunited this time for good. After May, Brock, and Max left; Ash and Misty then continued traveling together. Ash and Misty fell more and more in Love than ever.
At Age 17 Ash proposed to Misty. Misty in turn accepted. At 18 Ash and Misty got married. At Age 19 Ash and Misty had triplets(Two boys and a Girl). At Age 26 Ash and Misty had a Fourth kid(A girl). To this day Ash, Misty and family live at the foot of Mt. Silver. Pikachu and Togepi even found the right Pokemon and got married and had kids. Brock eventually found someone, married her and had kids. Tracy also got married and had kids. May and Max grew up and found someone too. After their parents decided to retire from Gym Leader life, they and their significant others took over the Gym as a combined family team. To this day they still defend the Balance Badge.
Team Rocket has long since been disbanded. Jessie and James fell in love with each other and got married and had kids of their own. Cassidy and Butch even fell in Love, got married and had kids of their own. Everyone lived Happily Ever After.
