Okay, so here is my first "real" GetBackers fanfic in the sense it's not a oneshot.
This is just the prologue, so the real first chapter is actually the second chapter...Anyway. So, please read the second chapter (the real story) when it comes up... and review please!

What if it was like that? What if it would be like this? What if it will be like that?
Everyone has their "what ifs".
Some think of things you want them to happen, but some think of things you don't want them to happen.

Just another possibility. Imagination.

But why?

"What if you were gone?"
"What if everything disappeared?"
Whenever I think of these things, I feel so scared.

Even if it is just a random thought, why is it that it sends shivers down my back?

Probably because there is no point in existing in a world without you.

But then, life is cruel sometimes.
When I woke up, everything was gone.
You and the world.
Both were lost at once.
