Shattered Reflection

'I killed him...' she would wonder to herself, sitting alone in that dark, empty room. The sorrowful wails sought refuge from her tattered soul, but nothing would come from that darkness which she would surround herself in. The tainted red carrying her essence dripped from her knuckles, staining whatever they could come into contact with. The polished glass from she normally viewed her reflection sat in pieces around her slouched form, each piece carrying with it an essence of her very soul. She would wince as it cut into her flesh, separating her flesh, and tearing away her hardened soul.
