Tails' Pokemon Adventure. Rated PG-13 for swearing. Takes place shortly after SA. This story, and others I write, varies quite a bit from the games and comics (both the Sonic and Pokemon realms). So you'll see a bunch of things that are different than those (like a stronger Team Rocket for example), just wanted to clear that up.

CHAPTER 1

"Tails I've had it! I've had it with you! Just what the hell did you think you were doing?!?!" Princess Sally Acorn yelled at the small twin-tailed fox sitting frozen on his seat.
"I was just trying to help Aunt Sally" he squeaked.
"Help?!? HELP?!? You nearly got us CAPTURED!!"
"Well- I- Sonic told me to set off the alarm"
"Yes! AFTER we were inside! Weren't you listening?!" she roared.
"Aw, come'on Sal, lighten up on the kid," Sonic the Hedgehog said, "We made it out alive didn't we?"
"Sonic! This is the FIFTH time this month he's messed up! You gave him explicit orders Sonic! Not to pull the alarm until after we were inside! But did he listen? Nooooo, he shot off as soon as you said it and pulled the alarm! If it wasn't for St. John showing up we would all have been captured by Eggman!" Sally yelled.
"So the kid made a mistake! Nobody's perfect! Except for you of course Miss Know-It-All!!" Sonic yelled back.
"Me?! Me!?! What about you?! You knew damn well that Tails is way too young to come with us but you just had to insist- 'Come on Sal, he'll be a big help! I promise as a Hedgehog!" Sally mocked. "He is not allowed to come with us on any more missions until he can prove that he's responsible and that he can LISTEN TO ORDER'S!!"
"He IS responsible! He proved himself at Station Square, REMEMBER???"
"Obviously he's NOT Sonic! All that fame and excitement at Station Square went to his head! He's getting to be just like YOU! Always running off head first without thinking!!"
"Yeah?! Well it's better than all your STUPID planning and doing it 'By-The-Book'!"
"Why You?! Argh! Well as of now, he's not allowed on any more missions! Is that CLEAR?"
"No way Sal! He's coming with us next mission!"
"No way! I will not allow it!!"
"Yes you will!!"
"NO I won't!!"
"Yes you WILL!!"
No, I WON'T!!"
"YES YOU WILL!!"
"NO I WON'T!!"
Tails couldn't stand it any longer. Sonic and Sally weren't even paying attention to him anymore, just yelling at each other to decide his fate. He didn't mean to mess up, he really didn't. He was just a little too eager to please that's all. But now he was in serious trouble for it. He had tried to help, and look what happened! His best friend and his "Aunt" were fighting like Tasmanian devils, and it was his entire fault. It was his fault that they were nearly captured, and now it was his fault that Sonic and Sally would probably hate each other after this and him as well. Tails jumped out of his chair and yelled at the top of his lungs to make sure that they heard him.
"That's it! I'm Sorry!! I'M SORRY!!! IT'S ALL MY FAULT!! I WON'T EVER COME ON ANY MORE MISSIONS OK?!?! I DON'T CARE!! JUST STOP FIGHTING!!!" he ran out of the hut and flew away as fast as his tails could carry him.
"Tails!! WAIT!!" Sonic hollered. He revved up to give chase but Sally stopped him.
"Let him go Sonic. He won't go far. He needs time to think. And we need time to talk about this. Like Adults."
"But Sal, he's-" Sonic stammered.
"No. Sonic. He'll be fine." She replied.
"Argh... fine. I'll check on him in a bit. But as I was saying..."
