Ichabod Crane is Crying

I remember how it was when

I was dancing in my younger years

chasing away my fears

with my happy dance

but now I'm crying in my today

trying to find a way

to go back to yesterday

And I remember how it felt to believe

I could fly

through the clear blue sky

and that magic

was very and truly real

but now I feel

that I am lost without it

I remember how it was when

I was happy

can't you see me

dancing in my younger years

chasing away my fears

with my happy dance

but now I'm crying in today

trying to find a way

to go back to yesterday
