This is a poem which may appear in one of my fanfics later. (For those of you who live for reporting people, sorry…if I write and publish the fic, I will remove this so it won't be in two places). Basically, it appears in the personal column of the newspaper, and Root and Foaly then have to figure out who sent it…of course, Foaly's computers know there's only one H.S. in the LEP…muahaha…

Now, on to the poem! BANZAI!

Please

With ice-blue eyes

And raven hair,

He is not an elf.

But with the People

He will show

More of his real, true self.

He wears a suit

Although he's young,

And bold and brave is he,

E'en though he strives

And sweats to hide

His spark of decency.

He's good inside,

Which he tries to hide,

So most people only see

The bad side

Of our hero,

And his faults and bad qualities.

They pick and pry

And poke and pinch

And plot to conquer him,

But if you look

Deep in, you'll see

A light, however dim.

A light that's helped us

More than once

With goblins, pixies, smarts;

Technology

And plotting are

Our hero's prominent arts.

If you know him

By now you'll know

Just who I'm speaking of;

The problem is

That this one

Is the person that I love.

So this is to

Commander Root;

I really hope you'll see…

I'm begging you,

Commander, please

Don't mindwipe him—for me.
