It’s not being able to drink soda before practice
It’s weaving as you march because you don't want to sit out
It’s making section cheers (Go! Go! Woodwind section!!!)
It’s Dancing in the stands
It’s Going to BOA Nationals
It’s Missing semifinals by .05 points
It’s acting dizzy
It’s making fun of non-bandgeeks
It’s wearing band shirts with pride
It’s no Saturdays free
It’s being threatened daily
It’s ducking when the colorguard come near
It’s Begging for water when yours runs out
It’s crooked shakos
It’s many gauntlets
It’s Windexing your shoes
It’s Jazzing 40 yards
It’s blindingly bright colorguard uniforms
It’s confusion on the 30.
It’s being screamed at by the drum major
It’s playing slip-and-slide on the mat
It’s laughing at jokes that no one gets
It’s Cocky instructors
It’s seeing the senior of last year come back
It’s conducting every song you hear
It’s drawing with the light reflected from shakos
It’s falling on Astroturf
It’s admiring uniforms of other bands
It’s having a section leader that doesn't even play that instrument
It’s Forgetting To Order Sectional Shirts…(again)
It’s wondering who will be the next section leader
It’s Dreaming of success
It’s achieving said success
It’s surpassing yourself
It’s Killing Rivals…Or At Least Planning To (again)
It’s The BEST!
