Hi! It's me again! Sorry about not updating my other stories.. I have started the next chapter of Past forgotten Love Remebered, but I hit a very big writers block. Gomen! And you guys are probably going to kill me for starting another story, but I just finshed watching the anime it was so sad and I was so touched that I had to write something on it! To all of those who have never read a fanfic done by me I'll say this: my spelling is really bad and I don't have acess to spell check, you've been warned.

When Love Reigns

Sailor Cosmos watched the tragic event from her spot on the throne of the universe. It was heart breaking to her to see them go through so much only to die in the end. She sighed and rested her head on her hand. She had to do something for these two! She had been given a second chance to find her beloved and she couldn't stand by and watch the two be tworn apart. Cosmos nodded to herself and stood, summoning her staff at the same time. She was going to go against the fates, destiny, heaven, and hell. She didn't care as the soilder of love and justice she had to do something! Firming her resolve she wave her staff and teleported out of the univeral throne room to the old log cabin where the two sat, dead holding eachothers hands.

Cosmos stared as she was teleported right infront of the two she had been watching just mintutes before. She knew that others would come in the morning to find their dead bodies, but she was going to change that and damn the consequences! Bitting her lip she brought her staff up and hovered it above them. Her golden cape disappeared to transform into white feathery wings.

"Ginzuishou! Hear my plea, hear my cry! Restore these lovers lives, return to them the gift of life!" The crystal obeyed it's mistress's plea and flashed a bright simmering light as a sudden tonado like swirl twisted from the sky above. A part of the astrial line above broke off from it's invisable ring above the earth, the swirl hovered above the two. Cosmos waved her staff over the two and the green swirls complied and fell into place in their chests. The rest of the swirling green mass floated back into the sky above, as if the reserection had never occured.

Stepping back Cosmos smiled as the small rise and fall of their chests returned as well as the light of the star seeds where replenished. She had made it before the star seeds had left the bodies, and returned their life engery back to them. She was happy she had made it in time, otherwise she'd have had to tap into Saturns powers in order to restore their lives. It wasn't something she wanted to do, it felt like she would be trespassing on Saturns territory. Ever since she had become Cosmos she refrained using her friend's powers wanting to rely on herself.

She looked up to the sky as the moon rose above her, she would be in trouble no doubt. She could handle it when it came later though, she had lived her life bowing to the whims of the fates, god and destiny; it was time for her to do something for herself. At least not enitirly for herself, no it was to help them too. 'For once, I'm going to be the one to intervine. I refuse to stand by and await for orders to help another dimsion, I can't stand to watch as others get torn apart.' She thought as she put her staff back into her subspace pocket and detransformed.

Her silver hair flowed behind her as the wind caressed it. She stood there in the moonlight doned in a simple white sundress, and white high heels. The mark of Cosmos faded away and the Ginzuishou melded it's self into a small heart shaped prism like pendant that dangled on a silver chain. She looked to the pair on the deck and went back inside. Returning mintues later with a ragged red wool blanket she set it over their sleeping forms. As she did she saw the old watch on the girl's neck. The watch had started ticking again, only it seemed to have restarted all over again and ticked away at a far slower speed. Cosmos frowned, she had hoped to have slown down the watch completely to stop the drain of the girl's life.

"I guess that would be asking to much wouldn't it?" she asked to noone. She smiled at the two again, she couldn't wait till moring to see what they're expressions would be. She turned and left into the ricktey cabin, she would try to get some sleep before morning. She knew others had felt that shift and imbalance in the Astrial stream and there was no doubt that they'd come knocking sooner or later.

"Let them come, I won't fail to protect these two. I refuse to let them fall as my friends did." She whispered as she crashed out on the makeshift bed in the corner of the cabin.

-Morning

Azmaria stepped out of the car as soon as it came to a stop. She ran up to the shabby log cabin, onto the deck and stopped in front of the forms of her two best friends. They'd found them, finally after all this searching. She sighed as she looked at the two, their chests rising and falling in an even amount that only sleep could give. She smiled a tired smile as the panic thoughts of finding them less then alive left her. The sound of creaking boreds snapped her attenion to a woman who stood leaning against the door frame.

"Hello." She said her voice sounding light and yet, Azmaria could pick up the sound of something else. Looking up to the woman's eyes she saw them twinking in amusment, but underneath it like her voice was something she still couldn't pick up.

"Hello." She answered after a short time of inspecting the angelic like woman before her. Azmaria crutsied to her, having a deep sense that this woman deserved it.

"I believe they're your friends, right?." She stood up straight off the door frame and walked over to Azmaria. She wore the warmest smile Azmaria had seen in a long time coming from a stranger. Azmaria nodded at the woman unsure of what to expect from her. "Good then I was correct" She paused before holding out a hand to Azmaria. "My name is Serenity." Azmaria shook her hand with the woman, now known as Serenity.

"My name's Azmaria." She said quietly. A small groan sounded behind her as the two who slept finally began to awake. Serenity made her way in front of the two as they awoke a smile on her face.

"I believe your friends are finally waking up, Azmaria." The young girl walked over to stand next to Serenity and stood with a grin on her face.

Rosette felt the heat of the sun's rays on her face as she awoke. A pounding headache welcomed her to as she shifted to try to get the sun out of her eyes. Snuggling into the shoulder of her partner, she was suddenly hit with the memories of last night. She had died. She had fallin into the darkness, that much she remembered. 'Then what?' she asked herself as she racked her brain for what had happened next only to find nothing to help her to figure out what was going on. Before she got to another thought one stood out in her brain. 'Chrno! He had been poisioned, had he died to last night?Had it been all, but a dream?' She jolted up, suddenly awake and shook the sholder she had been resting her head on.

"Chrno! Chrno wake up!" She shook him some more until she recieved a grunt in reply. She shook him some more, still obivous to the two silver haired people in front of her. "Chrno wake up right now!" She hissed and shook him more until his crimson eyes cracked open to look at her.

"Rosette?" He whispered still half asleep not comprehending the blonde's paniced expression.

"Yes! Chrno get up."

"Rosette what's worng?" He asked sleep clouded his mind to much to remember much of anything at the moment.

"Chrno are you okay?" She croaked as tears threatened to spill, the dark bags that had resided under his eyes had disapeared, though she still wasn't sure if he was alright. Her companion blinked at her as thoughts rushed at him.

"I'm fine." He said finally trying to comprehend what exactly was going on. Before he had more time to reflect on it he and Rosette where both caught into a hug.

"Chrno! Rosette! Your both okay! I finally found you guys!" Cried Azmaria as she held onto her two friends.

"Azmaria?" Was the hesiant reply from both the capitives that where currently being sqeezed by the normally quiet apostal girl.

"Yes?"

"Could you lossen up and let us breath?" Rosette asked as she mumbled into the blanket of her silver hair. The girl quicky let go and stepped back bowing her head slightly.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, I was just so happy to see you two again and well and I was just to excited." She said as she figgeted with her hands in nervousness. A hand gentely clamped down on her sholder causing her to look up to meet the blue eys of Serenity.

"I'm sure it's fine Azmaria, anyone could understand that." She said to the worried girl with a small smile on her lips. She turned her attenion to the questioning gaze of Chrno and Rosette. 'Well now." she thought ' How am I to tell them that they've been brought back to life?'

"Azmaria, who's this?" Chrno was the first to ask as his gaze landed on the woman who undoubtbly took the words right out of Rosette's mouth when she comforted Azmaria.

"Her name's Serenity. Ano, that's about all I know." She shrugged at this to emphaise her lack of knowledge.

"Azmaria, could you please go inside and make some breakfast? I wish to introduce myself to your friends if you don't mind, and I'm sure they could use something to eat." Azmaria nodded and left them.

"So, if I may ask exactly who and why are you here?" Rosette asked as she looked down at the watch on her chest. "I mean um I'm not really even sure why we're here." she whispered worriedly.

"Well, just as Azmaria said my name is Serenity. As to why I'm here is because I simply decided to intervine when no one else deicided to." She said with a smile before she nodded to the clock that Rosette still held in her hands and inspected it. "As to why you're here, is because you could say that I reset your clock, in a manner of speaking." Her answer brought up a more questioning lookto Rosette's face.

"Huh?"

"I brought you back to life, restore your astrial engery. Whatever you wish to call it." Serenity sighed and plopped onto the railing behind her.

"Why? How could you do that?"

"Well.." Serenity trailed off. She wasn't sure how to go about telling them exactly. 'Oh yeah, if I just go on and say: "I'm Cosmos ruler and guardian of the universe and I went against everything because I thought you to had such a sad story and deserved to be alive and have a second chance and all that jazz. That I brought you back to life" That would go over really well.' she mentally sighed she have to tell them something just like that, only hopefully in an easier way.

"Your not human." Was the statement Chrno filled the slilence with. "I'm not sure what you are, but your not a devil, human or exactly an angel though that's the closest thing I can guess you are." Serenity nodded at him.

"Yes, Chrno. You're correct. Though I have to say you're very close to the angel part, because in a sense I am an angel." She sighed. "The important thing though is that I did bring you back to life."

"So we did d-die?" Rosette asked as the realization hit her, if it hadn't been for this woman then who knows what would have happened? Would Azmaria had found them dead this morning on the porch? She didn't want to think about all of that and she moved closer to Chrno.

"Yes, you did. I went against everything to bring you back." She said softly. "I'm wasn't going to sit there and watch this world and do nothing." she added furiously.

"Why?" Chrno asked as he peered at the woman. Surely if this woman was an angel of somekind why would she bring them back? And why did she say she wasn't going to sit back and watch.

"Because, I believed it was the right thing to do. That and I felt that you two desvered to be able to, well live." She finshed dumbly. The smell of food wafted out to the the small group and Azmarai's soft humming was heard. "She's a really sweet kid, abit shy, but very sweet."

"Yeah, she is. Believe it or not, but she was far more shy and apologetic before.." Rosette trailed off. It was strange to think this woman had the power to bring them back to life on a whim.

"I know, I've been watching this world for a while. I know it sounds strange, and stuff." Serenity smiled abit she could feel their nervousness from where she sat, an akward slilence insued after. Only the sounds of Azmaria cooking and her humming could be heard, before said girl poked her head out of the door.

"Rosette? Where are the plates?" She asked with a smile on her face, she had no clue about the tragic events that had occured last night, nor of the miracle that followed.

"Oh on the left shelf beside the table. I'll show you." She said as she got up and walked into the cabin to help Azmaria out. Chrno had his arms crossed and he started at his feet in thought.

"Aion, he's still alive." Serenity said as she decided to drop the bom on the demon in front of her. "That's one reason why I wasn't stopped at brining you back, you and Rosette are really the only ones who can stand against him. I'm not allowed to interfere directly in the battle though I believe." Serenity watched as Chrno tightened his fistes, his gaze becoming harder.

"The order will becoming soon." she said as she looked up at the sky, trying to change the subject slightly. "Azmaria was meant to find you two out here, dead, I hope I didn't effect her future to much by bringing you back." She contempleted for a moment. "They no doubt know about the astrial plane's shift." She looked up at the demon who still sat tense in front of her. His normally cheerful face was one set in deep thought and bearly contained anger at the thought that included Aion and the fact that the devil had serived somehow.

"Serenity, Chrno! Breakfast is ready!" Azmaria called from the kitchen as the sounds of Rosette being hit on the hand with a spoon as she tired to steal some of the food on the table followed by cry as Rosette was in shock that Az had stopped her from helping herself to the food. Chrno smiled a small smile and looked back to Serenity.

"Thank you." He said his calm demeanor returning from the harsh thoughts that had plagued him before.

"Your welcome Chrno" She said as she to got up from her seat and followed the chibi demon into the cabin. The sounds of laughter sounded as well as the sounds of clanging plates and utensils outside. The eagle above swooped down onto a tree branch before flying back off and towards the city. It's master would like to know that both the saint and the sinner where alive, as well as the fact that there was a being that was capable of brining them back with realative ease. Yes, it's master would be most interested.

Well I'm done with the first chapter. I hope you all like it. I'm not entirely sure where I'm going to go from here, but I'll find out when I get there. Also I will be updating my other fics soon. I hope it's not to long a wait for you all, though in about another month or two I'll have finals breathing down my throat so it might or might not happen. I planned to update them eariler but I got really sick and needed blood tests and a MRI, which are not fun at all. Well read and review! Please tell me if you like it!
