Good When It's Easy?

I remember once I said,

""It's good

When it's easy."

Looking back now,

I find I don't agree.

The things that have happened since then…….

Have made my life hard.

Have caused me pain.

Things that I wish I could redo,

I have done.

To make things work,

It has been hard.

But as I look back now, I realize.

It was the hard times

That tried us.

It was the flames that made us both stronger.

The fights that ripped us apart

And put us back together stronger

Than we ever would have thought.

So, looking back,

I realize something.

Good when it's easy?

No.

Good when it's hard.
