Just Zelda

She was untouchable… goddess, perfect in silk and grace. She was autumn, winter, spring, and summer as well as every forgotten season in between.

She was the rain, the snow, the wind that tickled at his ears. Link hated being such a klutz with words. "Umm… Zelda… your majesty?"

She tilted her head to the left just so. "Yes, Link?"

"I brought you these…" voice dropped to a whisper, "Flowers."

She sniffed them, "How nice. Thank you." She smiled just the way he liked. 'I love them, Link… really I do."

She kissed him.

And then she was just Zelda.
