"Gibbs?" Abby slowly walked up to the older man, who was finishing up paperwork.

"You ok, Abs?" She nodded as she slowly made her way around the desk. "Then what's up? We don't have any new cases this late at night."

"I just wanted to say thanks…you know? For comforting me, and finding me, and well for just being you. So thanks." She leaned down, snaking her arms around his neck for balance, and placed a soft kiss on his lips. "I don't know how I would've made it without you." She moved back and turned making her way towards the stairs.

"Abs?" She turned to look at him. "You know I'll never let anything bad happen to you right?"

She smiled. "I know Gibbs. That's why I'm so grateful." She turned and left leaving a smiling Gibbs to his paperwork.
