A/N Yay, I'm very glad for the response I've been getting for these 60 second one-shots. I hope y'all enjoy this one, it's the second part to 'Letting Go' (I needed a kind of ironic twist). I probably say green too much, but whatever. :)
Please review!
1.
Something caught his eye
2.
It was her eyes
3.
He always knew they were green
4.
But they looked so green now
5.
It makes his breath catch in his throat
6.
Clear, sparkling, so vibrant
7.
They notice him
8.
The smile begins in her eyes
9.
"Hello handsome."
10.
She walks past him
11.
Her hair brushes against his arm
12.
He could reach out to touch her
13.
But he doesn't
14.
He's frozen
15.
"Hi Calleigh."
16.
She holds up a waving hand
17.
Her back already to him
18.
He can't see her eyes
19.
But the green has engraved into his heart
20.
So green…
21.
He thinks that
22.
There are things you take for granted
23.
Because you see them everyday
24.
You never notice that they're there
25.
Hiding in plain sight
26.
And the moment you truly see
27.
Becomes fatal
28.
Catalyst
29.
He realizes he's been standing silently
30.
For far too long and begins to walk
31.
He doesn't know where he's going
32.
All he sees is green
33.
So green…
34.
There's more to it, he knows that
35.
But those eyes are the trigger
36.
And all he can grasp right now
37.
So green…
38.
He feels lightheaded, he doesn't know where he's going
39.
Euphoric
40.
He then feels fear
41.
What is he going to do now?
42.
His very life is bound in emerald chains
43.
His heart's beating too fast
44.
He feels pressure building inside him
45.
He leans against a wall
46.
He feels like he's going to faint
47.
Where is he walking?
48.
Why does dread pair with love so well?
49.
Is he in love with her?
50.
He doesn't know
51.
All he knows is those eyes could send him swinging to pure bliss
52.
And pure agony with one look
53.
He realizes he's standing outside of her lab
54.
His body has subconsciously taken him to the object of his desire
55.
He watches discreetly
56.
Her head is bent down towards a microscope
57.
There's a small smile flitting around her lips
58.
He knows the smile isn't there for him
59.
But she smiles all the same
60.
And oh, the difference to me
