Jin stopped in front of the paper walls upon hearing the girl’s voice that sounded unusually enthusiastic, considering that he had left her with the vagrant. Usually they fought or said nothing at all. Once, they laughed but that didn’t count. Jin stood close to the paper wall and listened.

“That’s it?” Fuu asked.

“Yo, looks like it, doesn’t it?” Mugen replied.

“Wow.”

“Impressive, ain’t it?”

“Yeah, I just thought it was bigger.” She tilted her head to the side.

The corner of Jin’s mouth twitched slightly, a tiny smirk forming.

“Bigger? It’s no matter of size.” Mugen explained pouting.

“Is it not?” Well, Fuu had no clue. She had never tried so far.

“No.” He looked her in the eye seriously. “It’s a matter of how to handle it.”

“And how do I handle it?” She asked with raised brows.

“Place your hands here.” He showed her with his own hands where to put them before she reached out to put hers in the right place.

Jin’s dark eyes narrowed behind the wall. That lunatic had nerves. But obviously Fuu wasn’t much better. Maybe Jin should just go and leave them. He really didn’t feel good about eaves-dropping. But he didn’t move either.

“Okay that way?” Fuu asked.

Mugen shook his head and took her hands, placing them the right way. “Like this.”

“Oh, okay,” she smiled timidly and nodded curtly.

“Yeah, that’s fantastic. Grip it tighter!” He instructed and she obeyed.

“It feels good.” She smiled happily.

Jin’s left eye twitched. Fuu liked it! He had expected more from her.

“Your small hands are just the thing for it.” Mugen crossed his arms in front of his chest and gave a proud nod.

“Really?” Fuu giggled at this. A compliment from him was rare. “It’s longer than it was looking like.”

“Be careful with it,” he grumbled.

Who was the pussy? Jin thought secretly. Never in his wildest dreams would he voice that out.

“Yeah, yeah. Show me what to do with it. How do I move?” Fuu was eager to know everything about it.

“Well, you can move however you want. Up and down, left to right, in circles even,” Mugen never had a special technique in that case. “Do as you like. Just, do it with force!”

“Okay, okay. But there are special techniques I want to know about too.” She pouted and looked with big brown eyes at her friend.

“I don’t care about special techniques as long as the outcome is the same,” he lazily shrugged.

Carefully she formed her next words, not quite sure if Mugen was okay with the idea. “Jin might know.”

What the…! Jin’s eyes widened. Fuu considered him knowing special techniques? What did that pirate damage on her brain that she thought about something like this at all? Jin shook his head.

“Ask dojo-boy then.” Mugen shrugged.

Wh…! Jin couldn’t move a single finger. That disgrace of a man didn’t even care? It was time to save Fuu. Jin really couldn’t take it anymore. That was just too much. With force he shoved the paper door open and gazed at his comrades.

“Jin!” Fuu exclaimed with a huge smile.

Jin’s eyes wandered to Mugen who sat cross-legged in front of the fire. He looked as bored as ever.

“Look at this, Jin! Mugen gave it to me!”

A sweat-drop formed on Jin’s right eye. “A katana…”

“Yes! It’s not that big but it’s perfect for me Mugen says.” Her big eyes lit up. “Can you teach me some moves, Jin?”

Jin tried to find his voice and swallowed. Then, he coughed, turning slightly pink. “Of…of course.”
