Hmm, just can't seem to get Loveless off the brain. Which is kinda sad seeing as how I'm in college. You think that seeing as how all my goals are on getting degrees and what not that I wouldn't spend my free time doing little stuff like looking for a Zero back ground for my comp and yet . . .
I can't help but feel a little nerdy.
Wanted to try to write for the Zero's this time. I've only seen the anime seeing as how I'm a new fan. Went down to Asahiya today and ordered the manga volumes 1 - 6 today so I'm hoping that my knowledge of them will improve so please until then be gentile.
This will NOT be a one shot, it should be an ongoing series. All be it very short but still I should get a few chapters out of all this. Hee hee. Isn't it marvelous how if you have a collection of one shots they can become chapters?

I wanted to challenge myself to get down a style or writing that reflected sameness.

If Natsuo were really pressed he could think back to the time when he and Youji had first met but really, who cared? It seemed that what ever had come before wasn't important. To Natsuo there was simply time before Youji (which was very short in number) and time with Youji.
One of the things Nagisa-sensei had decided upon in the improved version of her series was to not let outside sources raise her experiments as she had done with the previous versions of the series. It was critical to raise them under a supervised environment and introduce them to each other as soon as possible. So that's why if pressed he could most likely come up with a memory of when Youji wasn't there, but it was such a small amount of time. So small. So insignificant.
After that it had been as if he had been given a mirror for the first time in his life when he had gone decades without one. There steps fell in place when they ran around in the lolita dresses that Nagisa-sensei brought for them to wear, their knees scraped in unison when they fell and tripped, their hair snaked similar patterns in the bath tub twining around each other and their ears twitched in unison when the rare something upset them.
With Youji the days seemed to blend together in days of oh so many bandages and yards of lace.
Technically they had always known about what it meant to loose your ears. Niether of them could remember anyone telling them. It wasn't something that Nagisa-sensei would have sat them down and expanded upon.
When they were seven Natsuo found a dirty magazine and they had sat down for hours together, each holding one end of the magazine flipping through pages and secretly forming the same ideas, the same answers and questions. Afterwards they had pressed their palms together the same way the pages of the magazine pressed together and had thought in their excited double thoughts that loosing their ears was something that they wanted to do.
They promptly forgot it the next day and the magazine was left at the playground's sand box to traumatize someone else.
It had stayed forgotten until the days before Nagisa had sent them out to get Loveless. They had picked up the conversation again as easily as it had been just yesterday that the magazine had been found. As if it were hidden under the bed back home instead of shredded into a million tiny bits and seeping into sand with rain water. Wouldn't it be good to loose their ears at any time? Yes, why not.
That day had not turned out as planed.
Neither had the next day.
Or the day after.
