You can see the sun even in an eclipse, but I can't see the sky through the clouds. You can see the Life born from Death, all I see is forgotten bodies in a gutter. And while I can see only things of pain, you see the healing light that hides behind every corner. You leave your doors wide open, but mine are locked up tight. Together we're a walking contradiction, and I don't want it any other way. Looking in your eyes, I see a million and one emotions, a door to the soul that's always shining. But you look in mine, and see only the sealed entrance to a soul that won't shed light on anything.

You have barely enough emotion to fill a thimble, while mine could fill the sea. I'm a simple circle, never ending and easy to understand. You're a paradox of many layers, each more complicated than the last. While I see the beauty of the forest, you can see only the trees. And even then you claim you can't see anything. My eyes are unclouded, clear as crystal, yours are under a blindfold, opaque as a sapphire. When you put us together, we're a walking contradiction, and I don't care.

I don't think I could hate you more, but I love you more than Life itself.

I hate you to the utter ends of the Earth, but I love you to the ends of the Universe.

And I wouldn't want it any other way.

And this is exactly how I want to stay.
