Hey, guys…it’s me. I’m not dead, just ridiculously busy. So I’m just going to give you the bad news flat out, no more hoping otherwise; I can’t finish The Cheat Code. I really wanted to, but I can’t do it. I have too much work to do, and that level of work won’t drop for another few years. I know most of you love this story, and so I don’t want to keep you waiting that long. I love this story, too. It’s practically been my baby since I was eleven years old. I got praise, I got harsh criticism, I learned what writing techniques people like and which ones they hated, and I learned how to write better. Now that I’m practically writing major analytical essays on a weekly basis, that skill really comes in handy, and I’m immensely thankful for it. And again, it’s a skill I wouldn’t have gotten without dozens of people cheering me on and asking for more. But sadly, I can’t give any more.

Here’s the better news. Just because I can’t finish the story doesn’t mean it won’t be completed. I know most of you guys aren’t just readers, but writers too. So I’m giving you all the chance to complete it. You can write one more chapter, or write several more. Pick the story up where it left off, and end it however you want. PM your chapters to me, and I’ll post them up here in installments, so you all can read each other’s endings. I know you guys would probably prefer me writing the ending, but this is the next best thing, if not better, right? I wanted this story to go out with a bang, not a whimper. So write your own chapters, send them to me, and CC won’t just be completed; it’ll be completed a dozen times over.

Speaking of going out with a bang, I don’t mean to ruin the moment, but there’s something I just have to recommend to you guys. It’s a movie called “REPO! The Genetic Opera”. It’s a fantastic rock opera, but it’s not very well-known right now; the guys who made it are absolutely amazing, and since I’m part of their so-called army, I’ve taken it upon myself to help get the word out. I’m not sure whether you all would like it or not, but I suggest you go on its website: www. repo-opera .com. It says you have to be at least 18 to enter, but there’s really nothing that bad on there. No exploded intestines or anything. We really need publicity, and a lot more fans, so please check it out.

Okay, let’s stop the product placement and get back to the seriousness, mmmkay? I love this story, I love you guys, and I’m sorry it’s taken me this long to touch base.
