Ryoko sat quietly in the rocking chair, rocking softly back, and forth…. she put a hand on her slightly enlarged abdomen.

It had been 5 years…5 full wonderful years since she and Ryo-ohki had crashed landed on Trilla in the Beta System, 41/2 years since she and Joanna were married, 4 years since the birth of their first baby, Tamko…and they had another on the way.

Ryoko felt so happy, so filled with joy, but yet. She couldn’t help but feel sometimes that something was missing…not lost, just misplaced. She didn’t know why…she didn’t know what. But it didn’t bother her very much, for she vowed to start her life from scratch with Jo, and their Wonderful daughter, Tamko.

“Mommy!” called a small voice. Ryoko looked over and smiled as her daughter skipped into the room holding a storybook and held it up high “Read this one, Read this ones!” She said with an excited tone. Ryoko couldn’t help but laugh and nod.

“Alright, honey, alright.” Ryoko said with a smile helping Tamko up into her lap with an oof Ryoko smiled down at Tamko and chuckled “My, soon mommy wont be able to hold you in her lap anymore!”

Tamko looked up at Ryoko with an almost horrified look “B-but I like sitting in your lap, Mommy!”

Ryoko smiled and hugged Tamko and giggled, “Oh don’t worry. My belly will shrink after the baby is born, honey.”

Tamko smiled and giggled. She looked down at the belly of her mother and put her ear on it. Ryoko smiled at this and rubbed Tamko’s back.

Tamko’s eyes widened and she squealed in delight “I felt my baby sister kick!” She said as she hugged her mother’s belly.

“Ya know, it MIGHT be a baby brother” a voice said from the doorway, Ryoko and Tamko looked up to see Jo standing their, leaning on the doorframe smiling at them

“Daddy!” Tamko yelled and hopped from Ryoko’s lap and ran to hug Jo tightly

Ryoko smiled and chuckled as she watched Jo pick Tamko up and swing her around before putting Tamko up on her shoulders.

“Hey, Kiddo!” Jo said with a laugh as she walked into the room. Making sure Tamko wouldn’t fall from her shoulders as she leaned forward and gave Ryoko a quick hello kiss

“How are ya two?” Jo asked Ryoko with a smile. Putting her hand on Ryoko’s belly

“Oh, we’re fine.” Ryoko said with a stretch and a small smile “Although Mommy’s a bit tired”

Jo took Tamko off her shoulders and gently set her on the floor and looked at Ryoko “Then rest, I don’t want ya…”

Ryoko put a finger over Jo’s lips and smiled “I’m not over working myself, Promise”

She said and hugged Jo tightly

“Alright, this Planet is called “Trilla” ” Sasami said as she looked at the tour map. Washu nodded and looked around

“Alright, this is the…one…two…fourth planet from the Solo Prod right?”

Ayeka Nodded and looked around at the different shops “they DO use the same currency here as the other planets right?” Ayeka asked looking at the money they had left. It wasn’t much, but it was enough too rent a hotel room for the week.

Tenchi nodded “yeah, the tour guide said they use the same currency through the beta system…they use different currency in the Alpha System still.”

Mihoshi sighed in relief “Oh Good! I was afraid that we wouldn’t be able to buy dinner!”

Everyone did an anime sweat drop as they pasted a school-type building…just as they turned the corner…

A car drove up to the school building and Ryoko and Jo Stepped out

Ryoko unbuckled Tamko from her car seat

“But I wanna stay home with you guys!” Tamko whined and frowned as Ryoko picked her up.

“Oh, honey, you’ll like school!” Ryoko said with a smile “You get to meet friends, and learn new things and do crafts”

Tamko continued to frown and hugged Ryoko’s neck tightly, pouting.

Ryoko looked at Jo while holding Tamko, rubbing her back and sighed

“Ok…I’ll make you a deal. If you don’t like preschool after you try for today, then we wont force you to good, deal?”

Tamko looked at Ryoko, and then slightly nodded. Ryoko smiled and kissed Tamko on the forehead “That’s my girl” she said and giggled as she and Jo walked Tamko into the building

Meanwhile…

Washu, Ayeka and Mihoshi all signed up for a job as waitresses at the local Resteni (Same thing as Restaurant)

And after showing off her excellent cooking skills, Sasami got a job as a chief.

Tenchi, on the other hand had a slightly harder time finding a job, and finally landed one at a gift shop a little down the street from the Resteni.

Tenchi looked down in his hand, where a slightly wrinkled up picture of Ryoko was…she was smiling and had Tenchi’s head in a playful headlock.

He smiled softly at the picture…he missed Ryoko terribly…

“Yo,” his thoughts where interrupted by a voice of a woman, he looked up to see a very tall woman with blond hair and red eyes. Odd markings where on her face and her ears where pointed. (AKA Jo)

“Oh, sorry may I help you?” Tenchi asked, rubbing the back of her head slightly…old habits diehard.

“Yea, I’d like ta get this, thank ya” Jo said putting the two teddy bears, one anniversary card, five roses wrapped in a bouquet, and small jeweler box on the counter. All with a smile on her face

“oh, yes. Of course” Tenchi said running them all up on the cash register “is it your anniversary, if I may ask I mean”

Jo Smiled widely and nodded “Yep, fifth year.”

Tenchi smiled “Well congratulations” Jo smiled and nodded as she paid for the items and then left

Little did he know that the woman he gifts where for…was the woman he was looking for…
