Five things that never happened to Delia of Eldorne

1: Discovery

The bed sheets rose and fell as his conscious slumbered. Delicately meandering through the Prince's bedchamber, she shook her head at the mess strewn across the floor. Typical male territory.

The sight of her name caught her attention: Delia of Eldorne. Deftly, she swept up the piece of paper from under numerous books. Peering at it she let out a small, horrified gasp. After staring at the page a few moments more, what could've been mistaken for a smirk (if it were not quite so elegant) tugged at her lips.

Of course the prince didn't mean to make her look like a hag – the previous evening was evidence enough for that! She supposed that being an artist wasn't included in the package of the handsome heir to the throne.

It would have to be enough.

Mutely, Delia prepared herself for her day; ignoring the pitiful prince's pathetic adoration of her. Everything was going according to plan.
