Disclaimer, I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh or the rights to the lines I'm basing all of these off of. This is basically a rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. I don't own this idea at all, and I'm basically guessing that this is what the song was about.
Yu-Gi-Oh Rhapsody
Young Yugi Muto stood at the edge of town with thoughts racing through his mind.
'Is this real life?'
Yugi was very confused.
'Is this just fantasy?'
Young Yugi had undergone a lot of pressure and had many thoughts racing through his mind.
He was caught in a landslide and wished to escape from reality.
Yugi looked up at the sky and thought, 'I'm just a poor boy. I need no sympathy. I'm just easy come, easy go, a little high and a little low. Where does the wind blow? Why should I care? Anywhere's better than this awful place I called home.'
Yugi was undergoing a lot of stress. His mom had recently committed an unspeakable act.
She had killed a man. She put a gun against his head and pulled the trigger. Now he's dead. There's nothing to do about it.
Yugi had left behind a letter for his mother. It said the following:
"Mama, life had just begun, but now I've gone and thrown it all away. Mama, I didn't mean to make you cry. If I'm not back tomorrow, carry on like nothing really matters."
"Too late my time has come. It sends shivers down my spine. My body aches all the time. Goodbye, everybody. I have to go. I've gotta leave you all behind and face the truth."
As Yugi left, he started to regret leaving, but he had to. He just had to find out his purpose in life.
He didn't want to die, though he sometimes wished he'd never been born.
He entered a town as one of the townsfolk pointed at him and said, "I see a silhouette of man."
Yugi turned around as the people started to speak strangely.
One person walked up to him and said, "Scaramouche, scaramouche, will you do the fandango?"
One person walked forward and said, "This boy has been walking out in a storm! He shouldn't be doing that! Thunder and lightning are very frightening! You should leave this town. This storm ends outside of town."
Yugi knew that it was dark out and he needed a place to stay.
He knelt down and asked, "Can I stay here for the night?"
The man shook his head and said, "This storm is too powerful. You shouldn't live here."
Yugi pleaded, "But I'm just a poor boy. Nobody loves me."
The people turned to this man who was apparently the leader. He still shook his head as the citizens protested, "He's just a poor boy from a poor family. Spare him his life from this monstrosity."
The leader held out his hand and let Yugi stay the night.
Before it was truly Yugi's time to sleep, he helped out around the house he was staying in. He was a very helpful person. The leader, whose house he was staying in, was now very fond of him and did not wish to let him go. Yugi liked living in the house as well.
As day arose from its slumber, Yugi got up and was ready to leave. As he approached exit to town, the leader stopped him followed by many others and asked, "Are you leaving?"
Yugi nodded and answered, "I still need to find out answers in life."
The leader stood in his way and protested, "You can't leave! Don't you like it here?"
Yugi nodded and said, "I like it, but I'm easy come, easy go. Will you let me go, now?"
The leader grunted and retorted, "Bismillah, no! I will not let you go!"
His followers thought he was crazy as they protested, "Let him go!"
"Bismillah, I will not let you go!"
"Let him go!"
"Bismillah, I will not let you go!"
"Let him go!"
"I will not let you go!"
The leader ordered his men to take Yugi back to the house and prevent him from exiting so he could stay all his life. Yugi struggled and barked, "Let me go!"
The leader shook his head and retorted, "I will not let you go!"
It had been a week since Yugi had been cooped up in his 'new home'. He was now scared. He felt like a prisoner. There was no escape.
Yugi suddenly noticed an opening. He felt like his luck had changed as he thought, 'Beelzebub must have a devil put aside just for me… for my safety so I can escape!'
As he left through the opening, he was met by many guards. The leader noticed he had escaped and ordered his men to catch him.
Yugi made a narrow escape out of town and fled as far from there as he could ever imagine. He was determined to go anywhere that wasn't home or that awful place.
He sent his mother one last letter, but this one was out of spite.
"Mama, did you think you could just stone me and spit in my eye? Did you think that you could love and then leave me to die? You can't do this to me! I've just gotta get right outta here and leave you all forever. Nothing really matters, as anyone can see. Nothing really matters to me."
He was ready to finally leave his old life behind him and start one he could understand. He wanted a purpose in life, and going home was not the answer.
