Chapter 3: Smoldering"How many times do I have to apologize about the house!" Leon said from the other side of the bathroom door. The two were forced to stay in a hotel since their home had gone up in flames.
"It's not about the damn house Leon, We can fucking buy a new one!" Cloud growled opening the door. "A blanket Leo! Come on, you couldn't have been just a bit more responsible."
"If you hadn't acted like a big ass brat I wouldn't have been down stairs in the first place!"
"So now it's my fault you weren't responsible?"
"It was mistake!" Leon said calmly. "I refused to apologize for it any longer."
"Whatever," Cloud replied just as calmly. Sitting down on the comfortable hotel bed.
The two sat facing away from each other, so they weren't sleeping together but still! Leon wanted to be near him and all Cloud could do was except that.
"I don't want a new house," Cloud whispered. "I want that one."
"Then we'll keep that one," Leon said. "The damages weren't that bad. Things just look worse when they're ablaze."
Cloud turned to look at the taller brunette and smiled lightly. Wasn't he suppose to be the one that made everything seem like it wasn't so bad? What had happened to that? He and Leon had hooked up for the simple fact that the two fit, but now Cloud had been taking on Leon's personality traits while, Leon had been taking Clouds.
Leon returned the smile.
"So I lied, the house is ruined but it got you to smile," Leon said running his fingers through his own hair."
Cloud grinned.
"That house down the street from the Queens is still for sale."
"You mean the big queer looking on with all the flowers outside?" Leon said with hope in his eyes.
"That very one," Cloud nodded.
"I don't think that Riku and Sora appreciate you calling them queens either."
"But they are," Cloud insisted.
"We're worse than they are," Leon said. "they at least have some types of standards of how gay not to be."
"You think we're to gay?" Cloud asked skeptically.
"Can you be too gay?" Leon asked with a shrug.
"We're getting off topic," Cloud said.
"To hell with topic," Leon said. "we've decided to buy the house near the queens."
"So plot concluded?" Cloud asked, with a blush.
"We were suppose to break up I think,"
"We'll were not going to," Leon said. "I don't want us too."
"Then we won't" Cloud said kissing his boyfriend. "I love you."
"I know," Leon said. "Hence the reason you can't stay mad at me."
"Now the plot has concluded." Cloud said.
"How do you figure?"
"The whole point of the story was for me to figure out why I couldn't stay mad at you," Cloud explained. "It's because I love you."
