Whispers of Goodbye Part 1

By: Daydreamer

Author Note: The book 'Phantom' by Susan Kay inspired this poem. It is in Madeline's (Erik's mother) point of view, after he ran away.

I remember the day you left,

You took nothing,

Expect my heart you kept.

I didn't even know you were gone,

Till I shouted your name,

I knew I was wrong.

Why did you have to leave,

Did you have many reasons,

Or was it just me.

Something says forget me,

There are the whispers of goodbye,

I wish didn't leave.

What do you think?
