Disclaimer: I don't own the Teen Titans, so I better stop dreamin' anyway...

A/N: Not sure what to call this, so tell me truthfully if it sucks. The one on top is Terra when she lost her memory and the one on the bottom was her being Slade's if you see fit.

"What is a girl to do?"

I've never hurt anyone but myself, and I haven't even done that! I'm not a Titan; I've made that clear. But watching his face crumble from a smile to a frown made me wish differently. Like some part of me thought breaking him like that was far more than a crime ever committed by any other fiendish criminal. I felt so bad, so wrong do hurt him like that. But I told him the truth…

Didn't I?

I admit, I've only ever known high school, but that doesn't mean that makes me a Titan. I couldn't let him get the wrong idea of my real existence. I'm a high school student who goes to Jump City High, wearing the same annoying uniform every day and studying for Chemistry and English tests every night. I'm not a hero. I'm… I'm just…

Normal

Oh God, I love the word. And at the same time, it was never for me. Regular teenagers were only blessed with such a simple world, and go through their own lives living nothing but bliss. They were never meant to have such a burden I hold. A curse that runs deep into the pit of my soul. A power that can destroy such a bliss that is normality.

Didn't I?

My life driven by my only master that claimed he was the only one that understood what I was. A gift, he called it, when it has only given me pain. And has given pain to everyone else around me that truly cared what I was inside. A person. A human. And so very much normal. But maybe they were wrong. I'm not… I couldn't be…

Normal.
