Ok, my first Naruto fic, hopefully it goes well. Yes, there is an oc, yes she is with Kakashi, no she is not a Mary Sue. I hate Mary Sues. Anyways, I'll get on with the story now.
Disclaimer: I do not and never will own Naruto, but Chidori does belong to me. (The girl, not the attack.)
Summary: Kakashi's most powerful attack was named Chidori for a reason. Now, when Naruto and the gang come face to face with that reason the past is revealed and it will put everyone in the Leaf in danger. Kakashi/OC
Warnings: Major spoilers, character deaths, and an OC, so if you don't like any of these please don't read and end up flaming me, cause I'll just call you stupid.
Memories of Sleepless Nights
Prologue
It was dark, not something he was use to, but a bit unsettling. A flash of silver crossed his vision and his breath hitched in surprise. He remembered that shade of silver, only one person had ever had that shade of silver hair.
Laughter rang out across the empty space. It wasn't mocking, but instead sweet and kind, just like he remembered it.
Arms wrapped around him from behind and a gentle breath landed on his ear making him shiver. "I'm still here," it whispered.
"Chidori!" Kakashi yelled as he sat up quickly. He sighed and placed a hand on his head. He hadn't had a nightmare about her in years, so why would he be dreaming about her now?
He sighed once more and got out of bed. There was no way he'd be going back to sleep tonight. Standing at his window he looked out at the stars, a sad smile crossing his covered lips. "Another sleepless night because of you. You're just not going to let me rest, are you Chidori?"

I know it's short but it's just the prologue. I promise the next chapter will be a lot longer. I really feel bad about how short this is but oh well. The next chapter is almost done and should be up in a few days. Please review and tell me what you think, though I will warn you once more, if you flame me I will call you stupid and say you have no life if the only thing you do with your time is insult other people's writing. Once again, next chapter will be longer. I can't believe my author's note is longer than the prologue. I'm going to go cry now.
