DNAngel: A Nickname for Satoshi

If I owned it, there'd be MUCH more -ness…Which sadly, there is not. So therefore, it should be common knowledge that I don't own it. Therefore, I leave you with this…

WHAT NOW? XDDD

:ahem:

Now on to the story, ne? I'll be imputing the micro size amount of Japanese that I know…So, hopefully I spell everything right. If not. . . Well just don't sue me.

She had a nickname for almost everyone. Riku, her barely older twin sister, was called Twin Terror because she was a scary person sometimes. Risa shuddered slightly in her seat and proceeded to look out the window and ignore the buzzing of the teacher. She called Daisuke Clumsy Flame, due to his clumsiness and his fire red locks. She had one for Takashi, but it was a little inappropriate for a girl her age.

However, nothing came up for him.

She tried with all her might to get to know that boy with the shimmering blue locks and the gleaming sapphire eyes that tore her down to shreds, but nothing seemed to work. And if she couldn't get close enough the best she had come up for him was…

The Ice King.

It was fitting to his personality, ne? But it didn't work for Satoshi. Risa saw something else when he looked at her sometimes, even if it was for a fleeting second. She thought at the time it was disgust, but he openly shows that one. Then she actually thought that he cared about her! That thought was dismissed by Satoshi telling her it was impossible for him to care about idiotic things.

"Oh he's just so… so…"

"He's so what Harada-san?" Sensei asked.

She squeaked, jumped out of her chair, and turned her head away from the window so fast that she strained a muscle, "Ow! Ano…Well you see…I was…Thinking…"

"Hai? About what?" Risa blushed. Takashi stood in his seat and shouted that it was probably Hiwatari-kun.

"IIe!" she shouted while waving her hands frantically, "I don't like boys with glasses." She confirmed more for herself than for the class, as she sat down in a huff and glared at Takashi until he too sat down, "Gomen!" She told her sensei with her head bowed.

"Just don't space off again, Harada-san." Her sensei went back to teaching the lesson, and Risa mentally noted to kill Takashi later on today.

When the bell finally rand, Risa lurched out of her chair and on her death course set for Takashi, "I'm going to rip that boy to pieces!" she hissed.

"Well that wouldn't be very nice, now would it, Harada-san?" Shivers flew up her spine and she wiped around to see those deep blue orbs staring her down.

"Frankly at this point, I. Don't. Care." She told him. He smirked at her. She smirked back, "Care to join me in my destruction of a classmate?" He shrugged.

He looked at her through those glasses that made him a hot nerd. 'Gah! Did I just think what I thought I thunk?' She blinked a few times. 'Wait, thunk? I'm losing my mind!' She felt her eye twitch and Satoshi gave her a funny look, "I might as well join you, seeing as I have nothing planned for lunch."

She shook her head to clear the confusing thoughts and gave Hiwatari-kun the peace sign, "It's annihilation time!" she growled manically. Satoshi made a note never to give reason for this behavior to be directed at him.

They walked through the hallways in silence as Risa looked for her perpetrator. Satoshi walked silently along. Krad making crude remarks all the way outside. Ah, yes, Krad. Risa had a nickname for him too. Amazingly, it wasn't White Dark-san. No, she called Krad Blackened Angel. White Dark-san didn't fit him because Dark-san was so kind while Krad was just, well Risa called him a meanie, if that helps.

Risa stepped into the radiant sunlight and blinked to adjust her vision. It was almost summer vacation, she noted. Risa reminded herself that she was going to try to get Satoshi to go to the beach with her if she hadn't come up with a nickname for him by then. Satoshi followed shortly behind.

"Oi, Hiwatari-kun, where do you think he his?" she asked him glancing around. She looked back to see him shrug and she sighed, "Some help you are Sato-"

"YOU CALLED HIWATARI-KUN SATOSHI!" A voice yelled.

Risa blinked and looked around to see a flustered Takashi pointed his finger at her from a bush. Suppressing a giggle she asked him, "Saehara-kun, why are you in a bush?" He scrambled out of the plant still pointing his finger at her.

"Don't change the subject! I know what I heard! You called him Satoshi!" he shouted at her.

Blinking yet again, she looked to Satoshi, who was a few steps from where he had been and blushing? Barely, but yes, Satoshi Hiwatari was blushing! "Why yes. I suppose before you interrupted me I was going to called him Satoshi." She turned her gaze back to Takashi, "Is there a problem?" He took a few steps back and began laughing.

"I always knew you were dense Harada-san, but I never—OW!" He was thrown back into the bush by Risa. She had a dangerous look in her eye.

"I may be a little ditzy Saehara-kun, but I know what I said." Satoshi looked at her, then ran off in the opposite direction of her. She followed him form with her eyes before turning back to the "killing" of Takashi Saehara. She'd deal with Satoshi later.

Risa walked into class dragging a beat up Takashi behind her. Throwing him into his seat, she flounced over to Riku and Daisuke who were talking in hushed tones.

"Konichi-wa, Niwa-kun! Riku-nee-chan!"

"Konichi-wa Harada-san!" Niwa-kun replied, "How was your lunch?"

Risa shrugged and mentally glared at Takashi as her stomach growled lowly, "I didn't get a chance to eat. I was busy dealing with some trash." Daisuke looked confused about why Risa would touch trash, while Riku laughed knowing fully well what her twin sister meant.

"Oh. Well it's going to be sunny all day today! Would you like to come with me and Riku-san to the beach?" Risa noted that he called her Riku-san and grinned.

"IIe. I wouldn't want to interrupt anything!" Riku glared at Risa's back as she bounded to her desk and sat down. Risa looked over at Riku, who was blushing and telling Daisuke that Risa hadn't meant anything by interrupting anything.

"Can I have a word, Harada-san." She tore her gaze away from the squabbling couple to lock eyes with the one and only blue haired boy she was about to call Satoshi that very afternoon.

"Of course!" She stood and followed him outside where he began pacing back and forth. Leaning against the wall, she let the boy pace until he stopped and turned to her.

"Why?" That was it?

"Why what?" she asked back.

"Why did you almost call me Satoshi? And moreover, why didn't you deny it to Saehara?" Satoshi shot at her. She simply looked out the window and sighed.

"I don't know. It just felt right." She locked his gaze and stepped forward, "I guess I felt that I was, geeze I don't know, special enough. I thought that I was different from everyone else. Niwa-kun calls you Satoshi sometimes! I hear him! So…so…" tears started to fall from her eyes as she tried to explain the weird feeling that just made it feel right to call him Satoshi, "So why can't I?" she finished. Satoshi stared at her for a few minutes, but to Risa it felt like hours.

He turned away from her and replied, "Because you don't like boys with glasses." And started towards the classroom door. Risa stomped her foot on the ground causing him to turn.

"Since when did you start actually listening to what I said?" she shouted, but not loud enough for everyone to hear, "Since when have you ever cared what I thought?" she hissed.

He stared at her again with those deep dark blue eyes of his, "I always listened to what you said no matter how trivial. I've always cared about what you thought no matter how idiotic the notion. You just never cared to notice." He then walked inside to leave Risa to her thoughts.

Too bad she didn't think much.

Bursting into the classroom she began shouting, "I WASN'T FINISHED!" Her chest heaved with the anger she felt at his answer. It wasn't so much his answer to tell the truth, but how he said it. The sensei glared at her and told her to take her seat before the bell rung, but she wasn't listening. She stomped over to the icy boy's desk and lifted him up by his collar. This seemed to amaze everyone in the class save Riku.

Risa could be pretty damn scary herself if she got pissed enough. And at the moment she was.

Hence the blue haired boy dangling at least two inches above the floor.

"Risa Harada! Put Hiwatari down this instant!" the sensei shouted at her, but again, she wasn't listening. She was focused on getting what she wanted to know out of the boy she had a death grip on.

"I am not finished talking to you yet, Satoshi." She spoke his name with venom dripping from each syllable. Everything was stood still in the moment to follow. Takashi sat on his desk glaring at the scene before him. Riku leaning over her desk praying for what she thought would happen to happen. Daisuke looking confused as ever.

"Then put me down and we'll talk." He told her calmly, though there was a bit of fright in his voice. He didn't know what a pissed off Risa could do! Just looking at Takashi and what she did to him made his flinch. No one saw him do it though…He'd never live it down.

She finally put him back unto the ground and he fell forward slightly. Risa caught him and a few fan girls could be heard growling manically. "Sensei. I'll be taking Satoshi outside to talk. Sumimasen Kudasai." And grabbing him by the upper arm, proceeded to drag the boy all the way outside where she had beat up Takashi earlier.

((A/N: I think that's supposed to mean Excuse me please, but if not correct me.))

"Alright. We're outside, let's—" but he was cut off by a pair of soft lips being exposed to his. When she pulled away, she had a determined look in her eye.

"Awe! Look at that! She cares about my wittle Satoshi-sama! I don't know if she's good enough for you though…" Krad teased.

'Shut up!' Satoshi yelled at him in return. He was engrossed in the fact that Risa Harada, his so-called 'Sacred Maiden' had just kissed him.

((A/N: Hey! No one ever said Risa couldn't be straightforward! XDD lol it is a little OOC…but she's a little crazed right now. :laughs:))

"What have you got to say to that? Huh?" Risa inquired venomously while poking his chest with her finger. He grabbed her finger to stop the pestering poking and looked her in the eyes.

"You are an enigma to society." She glared at him once again and withdrew her hand from his grip.

"What is that supposed to mean?" she shouted at him. Risa certainly was in a yelling mood.

"It means you confuse me." He said and embraced her in a kiss. She was taken aback but quickly returned it with the same amount of passion.

"I love you." Said Risa when they parted.

Satoshi gave her a look and asked, "What ever happened to not liking guys with glasses." A huge grin plastered itself on Risa's face and she giggled.

"I heard a rumor that they weren't needed." She replied, taking them from his face and dropping them on the ground, "Now you're just plain hot." She grinned more if that was even possible at that point.

"Oh really?" he took her in his arms and kissed her forehead, "Then I guess you heard right."

Sadly, for the newfound couple, it was Krad's turn to intervene. Satoshi gasped from the random exploding pain and staggered out of Risa arms. "Krad, no! Not now, not anymore!" he shouted to no one. Well, it looked that way to Risa anyway.

She looked frantically around trying to see where the Krad man was that was hurting her Satoshi-kun. She quickly gave up when Satoshi fell over onto the ground clutching his head in his hands. "Satoshi!" Risa cried. She flew to him and gathered him in her arms crying. "Satoshi what's wrong?"

"Run! Get away from me now!" he shouted at her and proceeded to try to push her away, but she held on tight.

"No!"

"Get away from me!"

"No, dammit!" Risa was crying her eyes out at the sight of Satoshi Hiwatari: Ice Boy Wonder, the Ice King, Mr. Ice, on the ground in pain. It was…

Unbearable.

"Risa if you love me you'll leave! I don't want you—GAH!" He doubled over in pain and tried again to push her away, "I don't want you getting hurt!" he cried. Try as he might, Krad was using everything in the book to get out at that very moment.

"Satoshi-sama! Let me out to play with your little girlfriend! I promise to be nice." Krad cooed with feigned innocence.

"No Krad!" he shouted again and successfully shoved Risa away from him. She fell on the grass and broke down crying even further. He stood up to run away from the schoolyard, and Risa lunged for him so he couldn't go, but did I mention that Satoshi is a fast runner even though he's so damn scrawny? Well, he his. Gracefully avoiding her grasp, Satoshi bolted towards the path that would take him home.

"Satoshi…" she whined before falling in a heap on the ground crying.

Risa awoke to someone shaking her as hard as they could. She blinked a few times to adjust her vision, then looked up to see the perpetrator was her sister and Daisuke. "Niwa-kun…"she cried. He bent down to her level and she fell on him crying once again, "Why does he run from me?" Daisuke looked at her with sympathy.

"He has some complications, but he does love you. You're his Sacred Maiden." He informed her.

"Sacred Maiden?" she questioned.

"You'll be the one to save him. I know it." His words soothed her and she whispered for him to take her home. He nodded as she drifted off to sleep again.

The only thought in her mind was that she would save him. The question was, however, how?

Satoshi didn't show up for school the next two days. On the third day he was still gone, Risa prompted Daisuke and her sister with a proposition.

"Please?" Risa begged Daisuke for the seventeenth time since she got the idea at lunch. Presently, Daisuke was walking Risa and Riku home from school.

"I don't know Harada-san." Risa groaned and looked to Riku for help.

"Maybe Risa's right Daisuke. I'm worried too, and I know you are as well."

"Please come with me to go see Satoshi!" Risa pleaded again. The red head sighed in defeat and nodded.

"It's rather close to your house. We'll drop off your backpacks, then head over." Risa squealed and hugged Daisuke until he informed her he couldn't breathe.

"Oh! Gomen." She apologized sheepishly, but was still smiling. Moreover, she continued to smile all the way to Satoshi's door to his apartment.

"He lives all alone, so if he doesn't answer, we'll have to come back." Risa shook her head.

"If he doesn't answer, we'll barge in! I won't leave until I see him." Risa protested with her arms crossed over her chest. Daisuke shrugged and Riku knocked on the door.

They waited a few minutes before knocking again. But still no answer.

"Then I'm going in!" she shouted and tried to open the door. It wasn't locked. Daisuke thought that was a little strange because Satoshi always locked his door. "Perfect!" she squealed.

The trio stepped in and gave the small apartment an once-over before Risa got down to business. "Where's the bedroom?" Daisuke pointed down the hall to the open door. Risa walked over to it and looked through. Sure enough, Satoshi was sprawled out on the bed. Risa entered slowly so she wouldn't wake him and crouched by the bed.

"Satoshi…" she could feel the tears start to form and tore her gaze from his almost lifeless body.

"Risa, are you going to be okay?" Daisuke asked. Risa nodded slightly, took a deep breath, and then looked upon her beloved Satoshi once more. But something was off.

He was awake.

"Satoshi!" she cried and flung herself on his chest and began crying. His hand caressed her lower back and he whispered in her ear that he'd be fine, "I was so scared." Riku and Daisuke looked at each other and left the couple alone for a bit.

"We'll make some tea and some food, you look hungry Hiwatari-kun." Riku informed them. Satoshi nodded a little, but his attention was on the girl lying in his arms.

When the door closed, Satoshi sat up and wrapped his arms around Risa, who snuggled closer into his chest. He smelt of sweat, but Risa could have cared less. She was good where she was.

"What ever happened to not being able to care about idiotic things?" she asked him finally.

"When did I ever say you were idiotic?"

"Why do we always answer a question with a question?" she asked back.

"Because that's what couples do." Risa blushed at this and climbed under the covers so she could lie next to him.

"Ah, I see." He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"I have a nickname for you."

"Really now? Well I have one for you too!" Risa smiled and sat up, "You first."

"You're my Sacred Maiden." That's what Daisuke had called her too.

"Well you'll never guess mine."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah." She lay back down on his chest and smiled up at him.

He smiled back at her and kissed her forehead. "We'll have to see about that."

Risa sighed and breathed in his aroma. It'd take him a while to guess Risa's Boyfriend.

Krad doesn't talk too mcuh...And Risa is a little OOC...but other than thatI think it's cute! I have a whole mass of DNAngel stories floating in my head, but I won't post any until I update my other stories that are already up. :laughs: And Satoshi gets VERY OOC ...But isn't that when we all love him the most? . . . No? Well I like him OOC...so yeah...Just don't sue me:cowers: Anywho, R&R! It helps me update faster:smiles:

Till next time,
