Chapter 6

Word Payne defeated

Artha thought as he paced around Beau's stall trying to figure everything out, he was utterly confused. Why use a bunch of high school students for an army? What was Word planning?

“ This doesn't add up Artha.” Parm said

“ I know Parm, I'm confused.” Artha replied

“ Did Word have anything of importance with him Yugi when you saw him last?” Kitt asked

“ Wait a minute, he used a black ball that glowed an odd color both times he appeared at the school, it was very strange it made the eyes of everyone who looked at turn red.” Yugi said

“ Sounds like Word invented some mind controlling devise.” Parm said

“ Using black draconium.” Kitt added

“ We have to find Word.” Artha said

“ And fast! we don't want those students brain washed forever.” Parm said

Artha got onto Beau as Kitt got on Wyldfyr and Parm got on his dragon Cyrano, Decepshun came running up and Yugi jumped up onto the dragon.

Already transformed Artha lead the way with Beau and the others quickly followed the black and gold dragon, Yugi saw that everything was getting darker and darker as they went. The roads turned from well-used to old rickety roads, Yugi began to get nervous, Decepshun noticed this she looked to Wyldfyr who looked to Beau who lifted his head which alerted Artha. The black haired Dragoon Booster looked back to see that Yugi was very nervous.

“ Yugi you don't have to come with us.” Artha said

“ No, I'm staying with you I'm not going to let Word get away with this.” Yugi replied

Artha smiled, the small tri-colored haired teen had a lot of determination, about enough to choke three dragons and then some.

Beau growled angrily as they came up to a large building with three dragon statues in the yard, and there with an army of people mounted on dozens of dragons was Word Payne.

“ Looks like you came for a visit.” Word said

“ Cut the chatter Payne, we're here to free the students of your control.” the Dragon Booster retorted

“ You wish you could but you can't, not even your little army can help you, I have hundreds upon hundreds of dragons and riders, and you only have four pathetic members.” Word replied

“ We may not look like much but we are stronger than we look.” Kitt said

“ Oh I bet you are, but I have the advantage.” Word said

“ Not for long.” Dragon Booster replied

The Dragon Booster looked over to Yugi who nodded in return, he pulled out two cards from his deck and placed them on his duel disk. The ground below them began to shake, the few trees fell over, the windows of the building broke, and the ground cracked in several places. Clouds gathered, thunder and lightning raged across the sky as the unforgettable long red dragon Slifer appeared and the lovely gold dragon Ra appeared next to him.

“ Say hello to the Winged dragon of Ra and Slifer the sky dragon!” Yugi called

The two dragons roared, in which the ground shook even more and Word's dragon backed up.

“ You may have a strong force, but I still have an advantage over you pathetic fools.” Word laughed

Flames came from the sky and struck the ground as Word's dragon jumped back from the hot flames. Yugi looked up to the dark to see the mighty phoenix Dranzer flying down toward them, on his back was the Blade Breakers!

“ Hey good to see you guys again.” Yugi said as Dranzer landed.

“ We heard what was going on so we decided to lend a hand.” Kai said

“ You still won't stand a chance against me and my army!” Word retorted

“ You might want to rethink that.” Tyson said

Word laughed his acid-ridden laugh again, Yugi looked over to the Blade Breakers who nodded in return, Ray, Tyson, and Max pulled out their blades and launched them.

“ Draciel!” Max called

“ Driger!” Ray called

“ Dragoon!” Tyson called

One again the ground shook, trees fell, windows broke, and some of the building collapsed as the mighty turtle bit beast, the white tiger bit beast, and the dragon bit beast appeared and roared and Dranzer joined in with a cry.

“ Just try and get through us now.” Ray dared

“ With pleasure.” Word said

His dragon jumped forward and the army ran soon after, Dragoon grabbed a hold on Word's dragon as Dranzer, Draciel, Driger, Decepshun, Wyldfyr, Beau, Cyrano, Slifer, and Ra took care of the army. But the army was strong, the bit beasts, and dragons were driven back, Decepshun caught Ray and Kai on her back when they were sent flying.

“ What are we going to do? There's to many of them.” Tyson asked

“ I have an idea.” Yugi said

“ Okay.” Parm said

“ If we all attack at once at Word the extreme power force should short out the control Word has over the students.” Yugi said

“ That's just crazy enough to work.” Parm said

“ We're all about crazy things, we do this sort of thing all the time.” Max said

The dragons powered up, the bit beasts stood ready, and the duel monsters growled.

“ We only have on shot at this, I hope it works.” Yugi thought

“ Ready... attack!” Dragon Booster called

The dragons gave their best mag blasts, the bit beasts used their strongest attacks, as did Ra and Slifer. The power raged toward Word, he and his dragon didn't have time to move out of the way, dust and smoke soon stirred up. Drained the group stood down waiting for the dust to clear, the dust soon cleared and saw that the students were no longer brain washed and the dragon army wasn't controlled either.

“ Finally, it's all over.” Artha said

" After all this time." Kitt agreed

“ Thanks Blade Breakers.” Yugi said

“ No problem Yugi.” Max said

“ It's what we do.” Ray added

“ Hope to see you again.” Kai said

“ Same here.” Yugi replied

“ We'd better go, before Dranzer's too drained to fly.” Tyson said

Yugi watched the phoenix take off, and he got off of Decepshun.

“ We can't thank you enough Yugi.” Artha said

“ I was happy to help.” Yugi said

“ As a reward you can keep Decepshun.” Artha said

“ That's great.” Yugi said

“ We don't have any room for her, so she might as well stay with you, she seems to like you anyway.” Kitt said

“ Thank you.” Yugi said

“ No, thank you, we owe you one.” Parm said

“ You don't owe me a thing.” Yugi said

Yugi went through his deck and found a blank card, we did it come from he looked up and Ra stood there looking innocent. Decepshun jumped into the card and it changed, there stood in a great pose was Decepshun with a happy smile on her face. The card was amazing, the looked it over she had 8,500 attack points and 7,000 defense and she even had a special effect. She was powered 500 attack points by any dragon on both sides of the field and both graveyards!

“ Wow, she's amazing.” Yugi said

“ She is.” Artha replied

“ You'd better go home, all of those dragons took the students home.” Kitt said

Yugi nodded, he got on Ra who took off with Slifer right behind, the two dragons roared Yugi heard Beau, Wyldfyr, and Cyrano reply. As they flew out of sight Artha heard Decepshun roar a goodbye along with the two duel monster dragons. He watched until he could no longer see them he, Parm, Kitt, Beau, Wyldfyr, and Cyrano went home.
