In the land of the mind where the shadows reign,

A maiden is trapped,

By another’s aim.

To convert her, another did the best that she could,

But Domain Kwaad failed,

And left Riina for dead.

But Riina yet lived, and starved for freedom,

Decided that two,

Could never be one.

And so began the battle between two warring souls,

Both warriors,

But with different principles.

One raised to defend, the other to aggress,

Memories clashed,

But both needed success.

Both wanted the life of the body they shared,

Each unwilling,

To become a pair.

Guilt and fear were the driving factor,

In making one,

To be the master.

Tahiri thought she had won the battle at last,

But Riina still lived,

And her glory could not last.

The battle continued and now both were pursued,

By something unknown,

And yet not so new.

Tahiri reached out and offered Riina her hand,

“Come,” she said,

“Give me your hand.”

Riina refused, but Tahiri grabbed hold,

Not simply to be,

The master of old.

For a moment Riina begged to differ, but then she realized what was to occur,

She gave herself to Tahiri, and a new creature was born,

Not just conjunction of two, but glorious rebirth.
