Chapter Ten

Over the next few nights both Sammy and David felt, empty. Without eachother they just didn't feel right. Occationally Sammy would see the gang passing by the comic shop or walking around the board walk but they never said anything more than just quick hellos. Sammy felt as if she'd been ripped apart completely. She needed David. But how would she be able to deal with this...problem. What if he tried to bite her? What if she didn't let him bite her and they ended up? Questions like this dizzyed her mind. After the fourth night of not speaking to him she knew she had to do something.

"Edgar...Alan, I need to talk to you guys on a very important issue." The brothers leaned in and waited.

"I'm...I'm going to forgive him." The brothers opened their mouths but Sammy held her hand up. "Before you guys start telling me what a mistake I've made let me tell you how I feel. Right now, without David, I'm missing a piece of myself. I love him, I can't live without him." The brothers didn't say anything. They looked at her, then at eachother, then back to her.

"You're possitive about this right? After this there's no turning back." Alan said fully concerned. Edgar added,

"We just want to make sure that you're not making a mistake."

"I'm possitive. I love him, I need him." Never in Sammy's whole life had she ever needed anyone as much as she needed David. With that she ran out of the shop down to the beach. Hopefully he would be there.

David and the boys were standing on the beach. David kept going over his plan making sure he had it right. He would go to her house and tell her that he was sorry. He was lost in his own thoughts about Sammy, her touch, her breath, her heart. Suddenly he heard something that would change his life forever.

"DAVID!" He turned to see Sammy running full tilt onto the beach at him. She was smiling. Just as she made it to him she fell onto his body, knocking him into the sand.

"Sammy?" She kissed him a passionatly as she could, to show that she needed no words to say, you're forgiven. When they broke apart he looked at her face to see the still wet tears.

"I'm sorry Sammy." She smiled,

"Didn't I just say that you're forgiven?" They smiled and got up. Edgar and Alan watched from the gardrails at the front of the beach. They saw how happy they looked together and dicided that they wouldn't interfer.

After two weeks of reuniting, Sammy became the vampiric lover of David's. Together they shared in all the joys of the night, taking pleassure in eachother. With David's teaching Sammy learned her powers, but she restricted her victims to low lifes and criminals. Together they would face the unknown years to come, and they would forever be in love.
