Once Again
I watched as your heart slowly disappeared into the darkness,
Turning you into someone I barely knew.
It took you from me, you weren't afraid.
You stood there your hand reaching out to me.
I ran for you desperately trying to run against the waves that kept me from you.
As I fell into an endless sea of questions,
My best friend once again was suddenly taken for me.
Two years I've fought and searched for you looking
under every rock, in every crack, in every nook.
One day I just knew I'd eventually get back to you.
Those things that lurk in the night suddenly became real.
I was pushed up against a wall,
The thought of seeing you again locked away in my heart.
As I fell to my knees,
Tears pouring from my eyes,
I began to think that I'd never once again see you smile.
As I closed my eyes I almost relinquished,
Once again there you were,
Telling me to remember,
that you were trying just as hard,
to piece together the broken shards, of what we use to be.
A memory of us appeared from the darkness of my mind.
The love I suddenly felt,
The desperation the imploded within me was over bearing,
I began once again to cry.
I racked my brain for words of comfort my conscious did little to help
Cease these thoughts of abandoning my quest.
From somewhere is voice called to be.
"Hey guy, hold your head up and look at me for I am what I use to be,"
I wiped away my tears and turned around there he was standing proud,
His gaze bore down on me, staring into my soul just like two years ago.
To me he held out his hand.
I ran to him as fast as I could tripping at the last step,
I fell to me knees,
I looked up expecting to see him,
He was gone he'd disappeared.
Once again It stole my friend.
That's how I knew,
He'd sent me a clue that one day we'd meet again.
In my heart I pictured looking out over that very sea,
That took him from me.
I'd turn around and then I see
Him standing proud just the way he use to be.
This is my crappy poem from Sora's point of view. I was bored what can I say?
Review. I want to know just how crappy it really is.
