Prologue

“Now boarding flight A12.”

As the announcer spoke on the intercom the butterflies in her stomach fluttered. She couldn’t believe she actually won. She didn’t know what to do. Her flight had just been called yet she was glued to her chair.

Her heart was pounding. Her face felt hot and it seemed like time had frozen around her. This was it. It was her moment to shine. She would probably never have another opportunity like this in her life. Yet to her surprise it all started with the one soda that she detested Pepsi.

Come on Kairi!” Selphie whined.

Fine here’s the money we’ll both get Pepsi,” Kairi replied sounding slightly annoyed.

Yeah!” Selphie took the money from Kairi’s hand and quickly frolicked over to the freezer where the sodas were in the store. Selphie went to the cashier seeing that there was no line and paid for the drinks with Kairi’s money.

A few minutes later she rejoined her auburn haired friend outside the store. “Hey these bottles have the sweepstakes wrapper on it maybe we can win?” Selphie said cheerfully.

Yeah a one out of a million chance,” Kairi said doubtfully. Regardless, the two of them opened the bottles and looked at the cap anyway.

I won!” They both squealed excitedly.

She smiled remembering that day. It had only been a week since then. She swallowed trying to remove herself from the chair. She was nervous wondering what it would be like in Hawaii. She didn’t want to leave, but at the same time she did. She was confused.

“Kairi!”

She looked up moving her auburn hair out of her eyes.

“Coming!”

A/N: Okay that was the prologue. Please submit a review. That would be very nice.
