Disclaimer: I don’t own Inuyasha or poor Sesshomaru or Rin or ANYONE on Inuyasha. In addition, if you kill me I won’t be able to make the sequel, so HA! In addition, if you really do kill me and you don’t want me to write the sequel, then damn...
Final Chapter: My Son is Still Heartbroken after Five Years
I look at him, he has the same long silver white hair as me. The same golden eyes that I know women have gone weak for. The same clan marking of a moon on his forehead. The same two red/purple markings that reside on both his cheeks. But there was something different. His eyes were lifeless and had no sign of emotion. His lips remained straight and unwelcoming. It made people feel uncomfortable, but they dealt with it. I got closer to him, hesitating as I put my hand on his shoulder, making up have to look up at me.
“Sesshomaru, go home. You can finish the papers tomorrow”, I told him, removing my hand from his shoulders.
“Yes father.”
I stared at him as he stood up and packed everything in his suitcase, getting ready to leave as ordered. I looked at my watch. 11:55 pm. Five minutes before midnight. He used to never work this late. When he did work this late, she would come over, worried sick over him and cling to him. I would tell them to go but he wouldn’t want to move her from his lap. He refused to let her move from his lap. Maybe he was working late now to get away from his kids. He did tell me that they reminded him of her…a lot about her…
I turned and walked towards me office, so I can get my stuff and leave as well. Picking up my own suitcase a picture frame dropped. Bending down to pick it up I realized that it was that picture. A picture of the wedding reception. Their wedding reception. Picking it up, I stared at the happiness that elevated from their faces. Such joy and love. I sighed. It was all gone now.
“Father…” a voice whispered. I looked up to see Sesshomaru. I nodded and put the frame down.
“Was she the only reason you were happy?” I asked, walking in front of him.
“Yes.” I stared at him, he looked as if he would break any minute. So fragile.
“Come. We’re gonna worry our family.” I put on a smile.
“Yes father.”
We left.
--(END OF STORY)—
I know this is a bad and mean way to end it. Please don’t hate me. I just felt like ending it here. I’m sorry. Just wait for the sequel! Please…
