Sorry

Old Fiat s. Italy

Summary: This is just me letting myself just start typing. I hope you like.

Flash Backing

Present

Notes: I was listening to 'How You Remind Me' and decided to write this. Also I had been electrocuted a few minutes before (accidentally!) and so that might make it a bit… strange. The story is kind of based on a story with Oishi and Eiji. I like that story.

I screamed it. Right at his face. My body tingled like I had just been electrocuted.

"What," he said back. His wavy, spiky hair seemed to quiver with indignation. "What did you just say?"

I just stood there as he hit me. I wondered what happened to the Jin Akutsu I knew. My friend…

"Taka, we're gonna be friends forever. Right?" said Jin, smiling.

Jin was great at Karate but never used it outside the dojo; Taka didn't mind not being as good as his friend. Best friends and nothing could pull them apart.

"Don't order me around!" he screamed.

"Jin stop!" I was crying. I wanted my best friend back. I always thought of him as that smiling boy with his mother who he loved more than anything. I saw his face. "Jin…"

"I'll always be your best friend! I don't want to be anything else," Taka looked at his smiling friend.

Then the car crash happened. It was May 31, 12:37 noon. They were both six.

Taka and Jin were playing on the sidewalk with a ball and Taka hit it into the street. "I'll get it!"

"Taka! Look out!" Jin called. Too late.

A large blackish-green car stopped suddenly as they saw Taka. Jin recognized the car as a black truck smashed into the side.

His dad's car…

"Jin! I'm sorry!" I screamed and grabbed onto Jin's hands. "I'm sorry about your dad! I'm sorry! I want to be your friend! I don't want to be anything else!"

Jin looked at me. "I hate you more then the driver of that truck." He turned on his heel and left.

"Sorry…"
