Please enjoy my song, even though you can’t hear it – you might one day.))
Body
Along a shore of ocean surfs,
there’s a cliff where I often perch.
It’s where I’m always waiting
for the one I long to search.
Sometimes I wonder why I wait,
every tide after roaring tide.
And why is it that I think of fate,
though I know how time will bide.
But, oh, how I fear how you’ll forget,
to return from the sea to me.
It’s been so long that I can’t recall,
why you chose the sea to me.
Where is that soul who binds me,
to this road of endless hope?
Despite how my heart finds you,
my mind won’t seem to cope.
Between the edge of our two worlds –
Between the land and sea,
It’s on this wooded secret path,
I’ll always remember thee.
Chorus
Like the seashell that croons,
a gift I got from you –
The wolves sing to the moons,
as I sing to you.
My ears strain to hear
a call back to me.
But all I seem to hear,
is the calling of the sea.
