"Woo boy..."

Bankotsu looked around him, studying the people for any information. Anything was helpful. For example, a person with his hands behind his head and smiling mens he's confident.

And then, I can use that to my advantage.

Bankotsu was a curious kinda guy who loves adventure like any other young boys. He was both arrogant and confident, and always had his trusty Banryuu with him. It was very rare for him to be without it, like he was right now. He was wearing hakamas that seemedto have been cut off at the knees, a sash was around his waist with a pouch attached, and a black shirt with only one button done. His headband, which represented the Hidden Mist, was around his neck.

"There's a hell of a lot of people here..."

"What did ou expect? This is the Chuunin Exams, and many are hoping to pass." Hakudoushi faced Bankotsu, and with a smirk he said, "But, I'm surprised you noticed anything at all,since your eyes are only for your sword."

Hakudoushi looks like a boy who's only about the age of seven, but in reality, he's the oldest in their 3-man squad. He's a child prodigy who mastered jutsus that even elite jounins have trouble with. He could've easily become a jounin, but he chose not to. Why? No answer. He was wearing a white kimono that looked a bit too big. His headband was around his neck, too.

"Why you little..."

A loud sigh escaped the mouth of a girl. "Guys...just...not now...I'm tired..." This girl's name is Kagome.

Kagome is the only female member in thei group. She's a medic nin. A very skilled one at that. She 's usually the one to break their fights. She's the kinda girl who would give everything she owns to a total stranger, if he/she was in trouble. Even though she's too nice for her own good, she can tell if one is a good person or not. She was wearing a tight dark blue shirt, and a hakamas to go with it, along with a pouch on her legs. Her headband was the only one on her head.

"Hmmm? Are you sick?" Bankotsu asked, forgetting about what Hakudoushi said to him. "If you're sick, we won't be able to do the chuunin exams!"

"Relax...I'm just tired. I couldn't sleep..." Kagome let out a yawn. "I was up researching about other village nins..."

She was about to take a nice lil' nap, until she heard some commotion up at the front.

She groaned. "What's going on?"

All three pairs of eyes looked forward.

They couldn't clearly hear anything or see anything.

"...hmmm...Hakudoushi? What is it?" Kagome asked.

"I'm shorter than you and you expect me to see something you can?" replied Hakudoushi with a blank stare.

Kagome mumbled a sory, then asked Bankotsu the same thing.

"Well...there's some guys from Konoha making a racket...hey! Wait a minute..."

"What? What?" Kagome said alert now, but that only lasted until Bankotsu said, "There's a guy with a bag of chips! I didn't know we we're allowed to bring food!"

...idiot.

"Hmmm? What's that? Hakudoushi, did you say anything?"

"Pay attention to them."

Bankotsu was confused, but if it was something from Hakudoushi when he was serious...alright.

"I won't lose to you bastards!"

...what kinda idiot said that? was the thought of the three nins.

And then, something sounded like a fight. Bankotsu looked over other shinobi's shoulders.

"A guy in glasses threw up..."

That's something nice to say...Kagome thought with sarcasm.

"Pay attention to everyone up front, got it Bankotsu?"

"Yeah...memorized them." Bankotsu turned to Hakudoushi. "They're not that important are they?"

Ignoring Bankotsu's question, he asked, "Names?"

"...Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Chouji, Yamanaka Ino, Hyuuga Hinata, Inuzuka Kiba, Aburame Shino, Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, Uzumaki Naruto and Kabuto...couldn't catch his last name..."

Kagome stared at him. "How'd you get all that?"

Bankotsu grinned at her and said, "Talent!"

"He looked up Konoha's shinobis too," Hakudoushi said. "Just remember the last four and the people who attacked Kabuto."

Prat.

"Hey...those are sound nins..." Kagome also turned to Hakudoushi. "Could they be...?"

"How should I know?" Hakudoushi said bluntly.

He gives her an answer but not me!

"Quiet down, you worthless bastards!"

The trio looked up, and saw...a lot of jounins.

Looks like it's starting...

They heard one jounin speaking, "I am Morino Ibiki, an examiner for the first part of the Chuunin Exam."

He then looked at the Hidden Sound and said, "You guys stop doing as you please before the exam. Do you want to fail already?"

They heard a mumble, then the examiner continued with his talking.

He explained the first part and the rules.

...a test. A WRITING test.

Of all the bloody damn things in the world to be in a chuunin exam, it had to be the one thing Bankotsu hated the most.

And what crappy rules...hmmm...cheating...

Bankotsu's eyes widen with realization. Alright then, let's look for Hakudoushi...

He found him with his usual smirking face, writing the test with ease.

Damn the little prat...

As if reading his mind, Hakudoushi's eyes looked up and straight to Bankotsu's. He looked at his paper. Even though he was far away from Bankotsu, he could tell he had nothing written down.

Hakudoushi looked down at his hand hoping Bankotsu would follow. To his luck, he did. Hakudoushi did a few hand signs, then put his hand under the table.

A summoning jutsu? Teleporting? Damn it Hakudoushi! Stop making your own jutsus!

Bankotsu put his hand under the table and to his surprise, there was a small ear-phone. He put it to his ear casually, by scratching his head.

Yes! I'm done!

Then he remembered Kagome. He looked and saw that she was finished and was now napping.

...so I'm the only one who needed help?

Bankotsu caught some blonde hair at the corner of his eyes. He saw Naruto panicking. He looked over his sheet and saw that it was blank.

...I kinda feel sorry for him. Oh well, one less team.

There was five minutes 'til the final question.

Finished...I could've continued but...my eyes are starting to hurt...heh.

About the team, Bankotsu, Hakudoushi, and Kagome.

I was going to put in Bankotsu and Kagome from the beginning. Hakudoushi was last minute. I was originally going to put Jakotsu in it, but...I changed my mind.

I like Hakudoushi. I like his hair and his attitude. It's fun.

I'm not sure if the other Inu-yasha characters will appear. maybe...1 in 10 chance of that happening. The Naruto characters will appear more in second chapter...or the third. Fourth?

About ooc-ness, it doesn't matter 'cause we're not the manga-ka of Naruto or Inu-yasha, so every character in fanfiction is ooc.
