When I First Met You
When I first met you
You were at a seminar,
My seminar
You were beautiful,
And young.
When I first called you,
You were working down in San Francisco
When I first tied you up,
You had asked me.
When I first pinned you,
We were on a case,
And how I wished I could have done it for real
But instead,
Work got in our way
When I first saw you,
On the ground,
I thought it was you,
But instead it wasn’t
Just someone equally as beautiful as you,
And young,
And I knew you never wanted me
When I first gave you a x-mas present,
Nick and Hodges were surprised,
Knowing I never gave anyone else a present that year
When I first was told every one fantasizes,
My mind was set directly on you,
Sara Sidle,
Tall and beautiful
When I first arrived at your door,
When you were about to get fired,
The only thing my mind was set on,
Was you,
And me,
Not being able to see you every day,
Rain or shine
When I first saw you threatened,
By the psychopath Adam Trent,
My heart skipped a beat or two
And my thoughts raced through my mind,
Wondering how I could live without you,
But the damn Orderly finally got the door open,
And you ran.
When I first heard you say,
“Hodges, don't you know grey hair can be very attractive?”
My ears stopped ringing when I knew you were talking about me
When I first had a camera duel with you,
You had snapped a picture of me first
But I had let you,
So may all your dreams come true
When you first came into my bed,
I was ready for you,
And it took me that long to have you,
And it will take that longer,
For me to be done with you,
Which will be never.
Because this all started,
When I first met you
