Drabble

He was sitting on the rooftop when she found him. Moping, completely un-Naruto like. She sighed and clasped her hands together nervously before walking forward to sit down beside him.

“H…hello Naruto.”

He glanced up at her, his vibrant blue eyes acknowledging her. He gave her a slight smile before looking back at the people moving around below them in the town. Hinata watched his face with her pale eyes, trying to read the tense emotion in his body. She followed his gaze to that of one Sakura Haruno.

Hinata bit her lip and asked, “Naruto, has Sakura done something wrong?”

He jumped a bit at the question before looking back at her. “Not intentionally I suppose. I just feel like anything I do will ever look good enough in her eyes.”

Hinata nodded slowly before reaching over hesitantly, placing her hand over his. She smiled, somewhat sadly. “Don’t w..worry Naruto, someday she will she what a nice person you are.”

Suddenly the blonde next to her smiled the usual smile that could brighten the darkest room. He grabbed her hand in both of his and replied seriously, “You’re a great person Hinata, thanks!”

He stood up and he surprised her once more-

He leaned down and kissed her cheek gently. Hinata just wrung her hands nervously and smiled softly, her cheeks a soft red. “Thank you, Naruto-kun.” She uttered softly to space.
